I thought Colby was shot but one of the officers shot Freddie and they took him away, then Alex woke up and she pulled away from me.
"You're ok", I said.
"We were so scared", Colby said.
"Why do you care, cause you're still gonna throw me out of your lives", she said.
Those words felt like a gun to my head.
"Why would you say that", Colby asked.
"I heard both you saying you can't keep pretending and you're gonna get rid of me", she said.
"Sweetie, it wasn't you it was someone else", I said.
"Really"
"Yes, you are the only reason why we're together", Colby said.
"We love you and nothing can ever change that", I said.
"I love you both", she said.
