Alex's POV

I was walking past my parents room when I heard them talking.

R: I think I should get rid of her.

C: Why, she's so nice and she doesn't cause any trouble.

R: Seeing her every morning and smiling warms my heart.

C: Then why?

R: I feel she deserves something better.

C: We can't keep pretending to her.

R: I know; I'll help her find a place to live and get her something to do.

C: Do you want me to tell her.

R: No, I'll tell her tomorrow morning.

C: That's fine.

I can't believe their getting rid of me.
