Rebecca's POV
I need to run some errands today and I don't have anyone to watch Alexa because Ashley moved in with her new husband Manuel, I am so happy for her and Alice but right now I need someone to watch Alexa. Then Colby called.
C: How are you?
R: I'm fine and you?
C: Am good, you don't sound good, Is everything okay?
R: Ashley moved away and I need someone to watch Alexa while I'm away from home.
C: I could watch if you want.
R: Don't you have work or something.
C: Some things are more important.
R: Thanks, I'll see you in 10.
C: Sure.
"Alexa I have some work to do so Colby is going to stay here with you", I said.
"Why can't stay home alone", she said.
"Cause I can't leave you all by yourself", I said.
"But I'm grown up, I'll be 13 in a few months", she said.
"Sweetie that doesn't count, he'll be here soon so BE NICE", I said.
"But I'm always nice", she said smiling.
"Smiling doesn't mean you're always nice", I said rolling my eyes.
The doorbell rang. I let Colby come in.
"Have fun you two", I said getting into my car.
Colby's POV.
"I guess we are spending today together", I said.
"Yeah", she said smiling.
"Do you like video games?" I asked.
"Yes, I have WWE2K20", she said handing me console. Let's play.
A few minutes later.....
"How did you beat me twice", I asked.
"I just got lucky", she said laughing.
"Then I guess your new name will be Lucky Charms", I said.
"I like the sound of that", she said.
"So what do you want to next", I asked.
"Well, there is one thing I've never tried before", she said.
"If you've never tried it I don't think you should do it", I said and she ran upstairs.
"There's first time of everything", she yelled.
3 minutes later.
"Makeup, no you are not doing makeup for me", I said.
"Please", she said giving me puppy eyes. I couldn't say no to that.
"Fine"
"Yes", she squealed.
Few moments later....
"Smile", she said holding her camera. You look pretty like a princess she said handing me a mirror.
"Wow, with a few more practice you'll be a pro", I said.
Rebecca walked in.
Rebecca's POV
I walked in and I saw Colby wearing makeup and I just started laughing.
"Mom, you're home early", Alexa said.
"How could let her do makeup for you, wait lemme guess puppy eyes", I said.
"I said be nice not take advantage of him", I said turning to Alexa. Now clean this mess up.
"Are you mad", she said.
"No, you guys just made my day", I said still trying not to laugh.
Alexa went upstairs and Colby was washing of his face.
"You're still laughing", he said.
"I'm sorry, you just looked silly", I said.
"I missed that laugh", he said.
I wrapped my arms around his neck and we kissed.
Alexa's POV
I was walking down the stairs then I saw Colby kissing my mom and I thought "She likes him".
