Tryouts; that one word gave me shivers. And yes, it was the day of tryouts for the movie. Me? I'm trying out for the role of Beca. I walked down the cold, lonely hallway and up to the door. This one door was the wall blocking me from becoming a star. I opened it and, holding the script, walked in front of the judges. They stared at me with their strong, powerful eyes, making me feel like a mouse lost in a field. Not only field but lions stared down at me, their paws blocking me from escaping. Then I awoke. I was back in my bed with my silk dog pajamas and a soft giraffe print blanket. I kept dreaming of that day. The day I learned I would not star in a movie, well, be a big star. No one would remember the name Amber Young. I would not go to cast poster signings. For I, Amber Young, was hardly even worthy of being called a cast member. So what? I may have the names Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, Skylar Astin, Anna Camp, Ben Platt, and more in my phone with number under them. It's not like they will ever respond to my messages. I became good friends with Skylar during filming, but when the movie got huge, I was forgotten about. He doesnt even remember my name. Anna Camp and I still text a few times, but not enough to call me a friend of hers. I was only in one scene of the movie, the first one. I played one of the original Barden Bella singers, the blonde one with the green eyes. Remember? No, you don't. No one does. There was that day when I accidentally ran into Skylar when he was visiting the set. He was really nice, and very funny. I could listen to him talk for hours. Yes, we texted back and forth a few times. I even visited him on set during the Treblemakers Right Round scene. After he finished, he ran over to me and hugged me. I was squeezed in his strong arms, then released. I questionally looked at him and he said "I'm not allowed to invite you on set anymore. So this could be goodbye". I was stunned. "Call me and we could meet up somewhere," I said. He shrugged and said, "paparazzi". I hugged him again and he looked down on me "You will always be my real Beca," he said. Sounds lame, right? Or are you just confused? Well, he plays Jesse in the new movie, Pitch Perfect. Google it if your still confused. I sadly left the set that day, and he was right. That was it.
