I woke up hurting all over, feeling extremely weak. After looking around, I began to detach all the wires connected to me and pulled out the IV, holding a finger over the needle wound to allow the blood to coagulate. A nurse walked into the room and freaked out, laying me back down and reattaching everything.

"How long have I been out?" I asked, my voice dry and raspy

"About two weeks," she explained "You came in here and heeled the previous patient somehow but seemed to take on her condition. It's a miracle you were able to heal her and an even bigger one you recovered so quickly. Our last patient was here for over a year with none of our treatments working. We have no idea what this condition is or how to treat it. I'd say another month or two and she would have passed on. If you don't mind me asking, how did you manage to heal her and heal so fast?"

"It's part of my quirk," I explained, "When will I be able to leave?"

"We need to run a few tests before we'll know that but as long as everything comes up negative, you should be allowed to return home tonight."

"Thank you," I smiled "One last question, your last patient. After she woke up, did she say anything?"

"She asked me to give you this address," the nurse said while handing me a sheet of paper, "She said whatever I did, don't let you leave this hospital without it."

I was discharged from the hospital a few hours later and went to the address I was given. I took a deep breath, knocked on the door, and nearly cried as my mother's warm smile greeted me. I couldn't control my body as I glomped her.

"Mommy" I cried with the biggest smile "I missed you so much. Never get sick again."

"It's okay Mouse," she said softly while petting my hair "I'm here now. I'm not going anywhere."

"Can I spend the night here?" I sniffled

"Of course, I'll make some cookies." she smiled

The next morning I thanked Mom for everything and headed to class. As I got to my locker, my happy mood died.

No one believes that you actually saved her because you "cared". We all know you did it so people think you've changed.

I hope you stay sick

You're pathetic

Villain

Liar

Fake

You don't belong here

Die

Kill yourself

No one loves a monster like you

There must have been hundreds of notes. In the middle of everything, was an inch thick rope. I sighed and gathered all the notes and the rope, taking them to my room. There was a note on the door but I decided I'd read it on my way out and shoved everything into an empty drawer. Once I changed into a clean uniform, I checked on Ash but he seemed fine. He wasn't even hungry. On my way out, I grabbed the note off the door and read it, smiling weakly.

Been taking care of Ash while you're gone. Get better soon, okay?

As I walked down the halls I got several glares, causing me to sigh and drop my smile. When I walked into class, most people didn't bother to acknowledge me. I sat in my seat, zoning out and ignoring All Might's lecture. During lunch, I sat with Star and Ray. I kept up the fake cheer in front of them and my friends until we got back to the dorms. I rarely spent time with other students in the lounge anymore. Lately, I would head straight to my room and cry myself to sleep. More and more notes showed up every day. Each night, I added them to the growing pile in my drawer. After a few days, I noticed someone put a box of razors in my locker. Making sure no one was watching, I slipped a blade into my phone case and snuck off to the bathroom. I lifted my skirt a bit and pressed the cold metal against my skin.

Before I knew it I was out of room on both thighs. Not many people used or even knew about this bathroom since it was out of the way. To find it you had to head down to the basement, down a narrow hallway with no working lights, and down about five steps. I stayed still for a few minutes for the cuts to heal. When they did I realized they barely left scars. I sighed. I wanted to be able to see them. I wanted to be reminded of each and every cut. Of every reason behind each cut. I wanted to remember forever. I deserved this.

I took a breath and went over every faint scar, going much deeper than before. I felt a bit dizzy from the blood loss but kept going. It took a little less than ten minutes to heal. This time though, the scars were much darker. I smiled weakly at my legs before standing up and walked back to the dorms.

"Skye, come watch a movie with us" Kirishima cheered "We rarely see you outside of class anymore."

"We don't even see you at lunch anymore because you run off to train," Denki said

"I don't know..." I said awkwardly

"Just sit down and relax for once you damn nerd" Katsu growled

"I guess," I said, sitting next to Kiri

About halfway through the movie, Kiri let out a yawn and stretched out his arms a bit. I didn't pay much attention to it but blushed when his right arm wrapped around me, his left relaxed on the couch's armrest. A faint small smile formed across my face as I leaned further into his warm chest.
