"Stiles, your food is up for table three" Harper's voice called as I was just getting back from placing drinks down. I hummed quietly as I slid the food onto my tray. I was quick to bring it to the table.

"Here we are, I am so sorry about that wait" I said as I laid out the food. I hummed softly as I laid out the food. There was only one mix up. but I was quick to fix it. I then set down the hot sauce one of them had requested.

"Thank you" The youngest said with a soft smile. I nodded and walked over to one of my regulars.

"More coffee Joe?" I asked. he nodded his head grumbling a please as he read the paper. I smiled and walked back to the kitchen. I grabbed the coffee pot and got stopped by one of the people I had become friendly with.

"Harper is making me stay late to train the newbie. all because I mouthed off to a karen" Lily groaned as she grabbed the Decaf coffee pot.

"All my tables are together and finishing. then I get to go home" I told her with a grin.

"Bastard" Lily said in her usual tone. I chuckled softly and stuck my tongue out at her. I walked back to Joe's table. I filled his cup and smiled.

"any new news?" I asked him. he just grumbled his head.

"same old mess" He told me "Thanks" he added as he took a drink. I walked over to one of my tables. The older woman, a local Judge, was finishing her meal. I could see she had her cash ready and was planning to get up. I gently picked up the cash.

"I will go ahead and take care of that for you" I told her. she looked up with a kind smile.

"I forgot to ask. How is your dad? Last time I saw him, he was gushing about becoming a grandpa soon" she spoke in her quiet semi hushed tone. I smiled and nodded. "Yeah, saying he's excited now is an understatement" I responded as I headed past the register. It was true, my dad had completely switched. He was now supportive. He never pushed to be forgiven, he worked on earning it.

I walked to the register and started the process. I got a little elbow bump from Lily. I looked over at her. she grinned before looking up.

"What does that jerk want?" Lily asked. I followed her vision and saw Harper fighting with someone at the door. I frowned a bit as I finished up. I walked to the table and gave over the change.

"Have a good night, Mrs. Solace" I told her. She nodded her head kindly as she counted the money. I turned towards the door. Harper was still arguing with the person. I walked over worried.

"Sir, I have told you several times that you are not welcome here. You will need to leave" Harper's voice was stern. I could see the tension of the situation.

"Harper, do you need anything?" I asked, I didn't see who she was talking to at first. I saw the figure she was fighting with look up. as soon as our eyes met, I froze in place. I watched as Peter's face twisted with a smirk. I backed up with wide eyes. I saw harper slam her food down, I'm assuming on Peter's foot. he stumbled back letting out a low growl.

"Go. I will call the cops" Harper's voice came out more intense than I had expected. Peter growled, even flashing his eyes. Harper was unbothered. She forced the door shut and locked it. I let out a shaky breath. My legs felt uneasy. My entire body felt heavy. Harper had known what had happened with Peter. He had started stalking me, coming into the diner, sitting and just staring me down. Harper had gone through the process of formally banning him from the diner.
