I felt stubble on the crook of my neck, followed by a kiss. I felt his hands wrapped around me. He held my hips gently. I felt his body press against my back.
"Sleep" he whispered in my ear. I shut my eyes feeling a wave of calm wash over me. He gently wrapped his arms around me. I leaned into his touch. I felt safe.
"Stiles! Wake up!" Isaac's voice pulled me out of the dream. I jolted up. I looked around, rubbing the sleep from my eyes.
"What?" I asked. It took me a few seconds to grasp where I was and what I was doing. I adjusted and checked my phone.
"You have an appointment, Stiles," Isaac said softly. I got up and grabbed my clothes rushing. As soon as Isaac said that, I checked the time. I had overslept, I was going to be late. So I rushed to the bathroom to get changed. I then thanked him as I rushed out of the house. I got into the jeep and took off.
I had fifteen minutes to drive twenty-five minutes away. I drove towards the clinic. I was anxious hoping I would make it. The appointment was important. I had been feeling some kind of sensation, and I wanted to ask what was going on. Plus I would find out if there were any abnormalities. So it was very important. I was focused on just getting there. I ignored my phone as it started to go off. I was getting several notifications at once. I just assumed that it was Scott and Isaac. So I just silenced my phone and slid it across the seat.
I made it to the appointment only five minutes late. I got to the clinic. I got out and practically ran inside. Once inside, I slowed down to a walk. I saw the receptionist, we had grown to be on a first name basis. Doctor Rose spent half her time at the hospital, and half the time at this clinic. Thankfully, the clinic was closer and more private.
"Hey Terri, I know I know. I'm late" I said softly. Terri laughed softly and nodded. She was a kind older woman. She always had a smile. She also constantly gave out some baked goods, which was amazing.
"We have a ten-minute grace period, so you are perfectly fine," She said softly. She typed on her computer before nodding.
"All alright, You can go have a seat, she is just setting up for your appointment" She informed me. I nodded and thanked her. I then walked over to a seat. I sat down and leaned back a bit. I yawned before I rested a hand on my stomach. I shut my eyes and hummed softly. I reached for my phone. When it wasn't in my pocket, I realized that I had left it in the jeep. I chuckled to myself and looked out of the window. I was zoning out, just thinking about random things. I glanced at the jeep, pausing as I thought I saw someone. I blinked and tried to focus my eyes a bit more. But as I blinked, the figure was gone. I shook my head and heard someone call my name. I looked over and saw my doctor standing by a door.
"Hey doc" I greeted as I stood up. I walked over and smiled. She led me down the hall towards an exam room.
"So how have you been feeling?" she asked as she opened the door for me. I went over to the exam bed.
"Pretty good. The sickness has gotten a lot better. Oh, but there have been muscle spasms. I think that's what they were. Which freaked me out" I told her, sitting on the bed. She paused and looked at me.
"Muscle spasms?" she asked as she took my blood pressure and slid on a pulse ox onto my finger.
"Yeah? At least that's what I thought..." I said quietly. Rose nodded slowly.
