Prince's Human Pet.

1-Summer

I have long blond hair and freckles by my violet eyes. I am 16 and my name is Summer.

Duns have taken over the world.

They are basically humans. But a few feet bigger than most. Stronger than most. And there are way more of them.

Evard Dun was rejected as a scientist. So he built an underground city. And populated it. With Duns. They were filled with rage at us for rejecting their leader. So they took over us and made boys, slaves.

But they did something much worse to the girls.

We are pets. Bred. Whipped. Beaten. Some owners are kind. Some evilly brutal. Most evilly brutal.

I'm in a pet store waiting in a cage for someone to buy me. I get whipped if I make a single noise and then I have to wear a muzzle for 2 days. Those things are terrible! I get fed one grilled cheese a day. Sometimes not even. Honestly, I wish someone would by me. I just sit her all day long and wait and wait for someone to buy me, but no one ever does.

I heard the bell jingle and looked up. Five people had walked in. A man, a woman, a teenage boy of around 17, a little boy, about 7, and a teenage girl of about 15.

I heard the pet keeper gasp and then bow down. I squinted against the sunlight. And then almost gasped too. It was the royal family of Duns! Here! Everyone can tell who the royal family of Dun is because of their crowns.

I had a muzzle on because I had a bad dream the night before and made a little noise.

How they work is that it has a strap that wraps around your chin and the top of your head. It also goes around you lips so you can't open them. Then the rest is like a dog muzzle. Like I said, very uncomfortable.

The royal family walked up and down the cages. The teenage boy stopped in front of my cage as our eyes locked. My breath caught in my throat. He had sandy colored hair and blue eyes. But I didn't want them to buy me. Royal are very harsh to their pets because a girl was the one that kicked out their ancestor. I was scared.

He stayed their looking at me. And looking at me. "Pet keeper!"

 The pet keeper came over to him and I started to tremble. Then the king and queen came over too. I thought I was going to die. "Y-y-yes Sire."

 " I want that one. " Oh My Gosh! He pointed at me. Now I was full out shaking.

 "Okay Son. But first we have to find out if it can scream." The king said. I backed up to the back of the cage. The pet keeper reached in and grabbed my collar and dragged me out. I whimpered as my body caught on the bars.

 The pet keeper attached my collar to the pillar. The beating and whipping pillar. I squirmed, but he had also tightened the collar. There was no getting out of this. The king grabbed one of the metal ones and lifted it. As it cracked I felt a searing pain across my back.

I couldn't help it. I screamed. The king whooped and then did it again. And again. And again and again and again. Then the Queen grabbed the whip from her husband's hands and put it back.

I thought it was over but she grabbed a stick with thorns all down the side. Once I saw it, tears streaked down my face, seeing that, the Queen got an evil smile.

I was scared. But instead of hitting me with it, she placed it on the counter and said, "We'll take this along with the pet." Oh. My. Gosh.

She also grabbed the whip, some food and water bowls, some food, an extra pair of clothes, her husband grabbed my cage , she grabbed a muzzle, a pointy and a soft collar, and a leash.
