I watched as Aiden's face blanched to the shade of white I had never seen before. He almost dropped Chase's puppy, and I shifted ours in my arms.

And then he started running. His long legs took in feet after feet; stride after stride. He was almost to the stairs when my feet started moving.

When I got to the top, he was hiding behind a bush. He saw me and pulled me down by the arm, but catching me, before the puppy and I took a nasty fall.

"It's Anisa." I could see the annoyance on his face. She spoiled our time together again.

"I'm gonna go distract her, make a story about my dad sending me here to check up on the maintenance and blah blah. You think you can carry both puppies?"

As I nodded hurriedly, he continued, "Okay. You give both of them to the pilot, he's a good friend and if we pay him a little extra, he'll stay quiet, and then go back to the shop, a man will meet you there and give you everything you need in exchange for this," he tossed me a bag that jingled as it landed on the floor.

"You'll only have about fifteen minutes because I'm not that good at stalling." I nodded in a businesslike manner and he handed his puppy to me.

I put the bag in the pocket of the cutoff jeans I was wearing and stood up. I groaned under the weight of everything I was carrying.

He started for me, but then when I got situated, he nodded once, glanced into my eyes, giving me a brief glance of his beautiful blue ones, and then turned on his heel and walked towards the plane parked right next to the one we came in.

I didn't bother to look as I ran to our plane. I stumbled at the sight of the three heavy things in my arms. Not to mention two of them were wriggling.

I came to our plane and the only stewardess met me at the door. "Hi Sweetie! What can I do for you." I pushed the puppies into her arms shouting an apology as I ran back the way I came.

I also added a hurried, " Take care of those for a few minutes for me. Please and thank you! "

I snuck behind the same bush I his behind minutes ago, and peered through the green leaves and light blue flowers.

WHen I saw Anisa's back to me and talking to Aiden, relief and jealousy worked it's way through my body. ,

I pushed it away, knowing what it meant but not having the time of want to contemplate it. The relief was big though.

I moved from the bush with blue flowers, to a bush that was made up entirely of green leaves. I peeked out again and Anisa still was facing away from Me as Aiden blabbed on.

I moved to a rosebush next. I smelled it and instantly loved it. It sound surprising, but I have never seen or smelled one before. I peeked out. Still looking at Aiden.

I moved to a bush with yellow flowers. They were the color of butter and kind of smelled like it too. I peeked out. Anisa wasn't facing me still, but Aiden caught my gaze. Our eyes locked and stayed that way.

I broke the string tied between our gazes, and moved on to the next bush. This one was a blue. The color of Aiden's eyes that I was looking into a few seconds ago. I was almost to the building. Two more bushes to go.

I made sure that Anisa wasn't looking. And met the next bush head on. This one has light purple flowers. I had never smelled so many good smells in so few minutes. I peered through the purple petals and saw that Anisa still wasn't facing the bushes.

The next bush was full of green leaves with a few orange butter cups here and there. I made a quick break for it and ran for the shop.

It was made of tan stones and had a sign over the top that read, Supplies. It was in big red letters, you actually couldn't miss it.
