I watched his jaw drop and his eyes widen. I almost laughed but then remembered why that happened. I sobered instantly.

"I don't know why I didn't think of this earlier! You look exactly alike and not many people have you eye color. Although you have a birthmark shaped like an A behind your ear that she didn't have."

I must say I was touched with the fact that not only did he notice the difference between us, but my birthmark.

But then my thoughts turned to one thing.

I couldn't shake the question from my mind. It wouldn't leave. I tried filling it with other thoughts. But if course that didn't work.

So I said quietly, "How did she die?"

He got a look of such pain and sorrow. "He publicly-" Aiden choked down a sob. "Tied her to a pillar with chains. And he... Let out a tiger. And I had to watch as she was torn bit by-," At this point he started crying.

The tears left lines on his cheeks as they fell from his eyes. And I imagined it.

She looked like me, and as two soldiers dragged her out of the castle, she stumbled from whip marks. As Aiden saw her from his throne, a single tear fell from his eyes. And then their gazes met.

Love poured from both of them. Until the king yelled an order and the guards started moving at a faster pace.

She was practically dragged across the street where people were gathered.  Hey she kept his gaze on him.

Aiden turned angrily to his dad and said something in a whisper. That the king ignored completely.

Then the soldiers got to a pillar that was surrounded in a glass box. She was tied to the pillar with chains.

But she didn't cry. And when they released the tiger. She didn't flinch at all.

And she looked beautiful. With light shining down on her from above and her bright hair reflecting the light. Her violet eyes stared at Aiden still.

And he couldn't look away, for fear that he would miss her last minutes on earth.

The tiger slowly crept up to her and still, no fear entered her expression. She looked rather as if she were the tiger.

But then the tiger pounced.

I blinked myself out of the daydream before it got too real, and I turned my attention to Aiden.

He was still crying.

So I hugged him. It felt awkward for me to be wrapping my arms around him this time. Until he hugged me back. And we just hugged each other. It felt so right.

We were both comforting each other on a loss.

I leaned my head on his strong chest and left it there, and then he laid his head on top of mine.

He wrapped his arms around my shoulders and back, while I wrapped mine around his waist. And our bodies melted into each other perfectly.

We stayed that way for a few minutes. Until Eva and Chase burst into the room.

When they saw us embracing each other, the both blushed and looked down at their shoes. And I can't blame them.

We both had tears still running down our faces. And we were hugging. When I thought about what we must look like, I laughed. Which made Aiden laugh.

Soon all four of us were on the floor and encased in laughter.

We all stood up and wiped out eyes before Chase asked, "So what happened before we got here?" He gestured around the room with his hand. Aiden and I both glanced at each other.

"Elsie." Aiden said her name and instantly everyone sobered and bowed their heads. " And we found out that not only are Summer and Elsie related, they're twins," Aiden continued.

Before Chase and Eva could even start to process that, Aiden said, "So, did you get everything?"

Eva and Chase just stared at me. T

hen Eva got this sly look in her eyes and she winked at Chase which resulted in him catching the contagious sly look.

And that the contagious sly look was apparently going to be the death of me was apparent when they both dropped off their stuff with just a goodbye, good luck, don't forget to bring me a German Shepard puppy, and a wink from both of them right after making sure the jet was private and we were going to be the only two on it.

"You know I thought they were or friends," I commented to Aiden.

He gave me a grin that made me glad I was sitting in a chair because my legs turned to jelly. purchase

"Me too." That was all he said before he turned to the computer to finalize the purchase for the private jet.

I snatched a glanced at his hair. It was sandy colored, yet darker on the bottom and lighter on the top. Then I watched his eyes flicker over the screen.

They were a beautiful color of eyes. They were blue with specks of silver and gold in them. Along with mischief. My eyes took in his tanned skin. The same color at brown sugar.

His nose was perfectly shaped. And then my eyes landed on his lips. I remembered his mint smelling breath as his lips were just centimeters away from mine.

They looked so soft and welcoming, even as he pursed them in concentration.

He turned in his swivel chair and I quickly averted my gaze. But I could tell by the amusement in his voice that he had seen me. "It's ready for tomorrow. We leave at 4:15 A.M., so be ready."

I nodded sheepishly, and he laughed. Probably at me for entertaining such ridiculous thoughts like I was. And like he knew I was.

I got up from the couch, which was where I had sat down after... Well, anyway.

He started to walk towards me, and I noticed his gait. It practically screamed confidence.

But not confidence like he thought ruled the world- even though when he became king he would- confidence like he knew that he didn't need to rule the world.

And he was perfectly happy with that.

He chuckled again and I jumped. While I was starting at him he had walked closer so that we were only a few inches away.

He was awfully flirtatious for someone who didn't want to kiss me. Or maybe he did. No. He was the king of the Duns.

And I was his pet.

I looked over at Aiden again. He was starting out the window. The inside of the plane was completely white except for me and Aiden.

He was staring at the blue sky the color of his eyes. There were a few wispy clouds laying about, and the sun glared through the window.

He had been really quiet every since yesterday when he approached me.

I had jumped out of the couch after I had finished my thoughts and ran into the bathroom and shut the door.

I had stayed in there for a few minutes and when I came out, he was gone. He came back in a few moments later carrying a tasty with two of everything.

He mumbled, "This is dinner. I thought we should eat in here tonight." Aiden never mumbled before.

I was getting worried. He had also never left me without telling me where he was going.

We ate in silence and then went to bed.

I looked over at Aiden again. "I'm sorry Aiden, about yesterday, I guess I was just scared. " He looked over and shrugged.

I blinked and looked down.

Half an hour later I began to hum. I felt a pair of eyes on me. I looked over and Aiden was looking at me with astonished eyes.

"What?" I asked.

A smile tugged at his lips. "You can sing."
