Prince's Human Pet.

3-Summer

I strained to see who was at the door. It was his sister. She has dark brown hair and eyes that matched her brother's. She was pretty.

She looked out in the hallway as if to make sure no one was watching her. Then she stepped inside and closed the door.

I was trying to get a better look at her when I got in a position that racked my back with pain. I groaned and Aiden looked at me. Then he glanced at his sister. He looked as if he were trying to decide something. He probably was.

I guess he decided because he walked over to my cage. Then he unlocked it. And took my collar off. 

What?! I looked over at him and he looked nervous.

His sister looked at me with her eyes widened. But not as much as I expected.

Aiden took a deep breath and said, "Summer, this is my sister Eva. She feels the same way about humans as I do. And... She can help us of we ever need it." There was something he wasn't telling me, but I can deal with that. As I have my whole life.

 Eva nodded, gave her brother a quick hug, gave me a tiny wave, and then opened the door and left.

He attached the leash and we headed for dinner.

When we got to the table he attached me to it. The slaves started bringing out food when Aiden's dad stood up. He announced, "Since the pet was with Aiden when he was late for Anisa's date with him, after dinner, we will try out the stick that Rita got."

 Man. I hate the king and his unreasonable twisted logic.

Eva sighed and Aiden groaned quietly and gritted his teeth. I bit my lip and looked down at my lap. Then the king sat down and started to eat. His wife and children followed suit, but Aiden didn't eat much.

As soon as the dessert, brownies, was laid out though, he decided that not eating wouldn't help him I guess, because he ate all the dessert. Except for the bite that he slipped me. When it fell into my lap I looked at him and he winked at me. Though it was a sad wink.

I stared at it for a little bit and then took a crumb in between my fingers. I don't remember the last time I had one of these. I put it slowly into my mouth and it melted. I ate the rest in seconds.

And then the king called for a slave to bring the stick. As soon as I saw it, my back ached from earlier today. My legs turned to jelly and I felt really lightheaded.

Aiden was coming pretty close to panicking. The king walked around the table to get me. I stood up and he quickly dragged me over to the pillar that every Dun room has. He did it the same way that Anisa had earlier. Slightly choking me.

I could tell Aiden was nervous. After all Anisa had almost killed me earlier with the same stick.

And it was only a few hours later. If he killed me now there was nothing Aiden could do. Or Eva for that matter.

I sighed knowing there wasn't anything that any of us could do. I braced my self for the first impact.

He screamed battle rage as the stick whistled through the air. And I screamed with the same volume as it hit me. He did it again and then handed it to his wife. 

She did it twice and then turned to give it to Aiden, who wasn't there. Neither was Eva. 

But the youngest kid was. He took it and swung it.

But the stick was to heavy and it didn't even come within a foot of me. Both the king and queen shrugged and said in unison, "More fun for us then!"
