The scene opens. It is a dark room with two men inside it, seemingly hiding behind a large crate of sorts. The farthest portion of stage right is hidden from the audience.
WILSON: This is a bad idea. I told you this was a bad idea.
NATHAN: Will you shut it? We have to keep quiet. We don't want to be heard.
WILSON: I never should have let you convince me to do this. Why did I believe you when you said this would be quick and easy?
NATHAN: Because it was going quick and easy until you messed it up!
WILSON: Why? Why me? Why me? Oh, God, why me?"
NATHAN: Listen here, you little wimp. We're going to get out of here.
WILSON: Alive?
NATHAN: Of course alive! We're going to get out of here alive and with the treasure.
WILSON: Are you sure?
NATHAN: Yes. You've come a long way since we met in New York. You can do this. I believe in you. Now, just follow my lead. The two men slowly peek around the crate just as a guard enters from a door at center stage. Jordan immediately ducks behind the crate again, but he then recomposes himself and peeks out again. When the man's back is turned, the two men creep up on him and take him by surprise, knocking him out. Good work, Jordan. I told you we can do this.
WILSON: Yeah... you're right! We can do this! Just as Jordan and Nathan enter through the door the guard entered through, the right portion of the stage goes pitch black.
VOICE: Tommy! It's almost dinnertime! The hidden third of the stage lights up to see a young boy playing with action figures in his room as his older brother, Jordan Wilson, enters. What are you doing?
TOMMY: You and Nathan are on an adventure!
JORDAN: What are you talking about?
TOMMY: You always go on those adventures with Nathan on your games, but Mom doesn't like me to watch them. Says I'm too young. So, I'm making a story in which you two go on an adventure together!
JORDAN: Really? That's... neat. What's it about?
TOMMY: The Illuminaninaniati stole the Ark that Indiana Jones had found. You get called in by the government to track down Nathan, since they think that he is their best shot at retrieving it. However, upon finding the ark, Nathan looks through some of their files and realizes there is a massive hidden treasure in Ethiopia, hidden by the early church so the Romans couldn't get to it. The bad guys got to the treasure first, but you're on the ship with all the treasure and are planning on taking it over.
JORDAN: Could... I join you? We still have ten minutes until supper.
TOMMY: Sure! Jordan sits next to Tommy and picks up an action figure that looks eerily like an older version of himself. He smiles. The lights dim on their part of the stage. There is dead silence for a few seconds.
NATHAN: Look out, Wilson! His gun fires twice. The lights barely come up on their side of the stage. One of the guards is on the ground.
WILSON: So much for stealth.
NATHAN: Eh, that's never really been my style anyway. Let's move. By this time, the entire stage is lit, showing a ship corridor. Three guards enter from stage right. So, which of us gets two, and who gets one? Without hesitating, Wilson punches one guard, shoots one, and throws the other back.
WILSON: Bold of you to assume I wouldn't get all three.
NATHAN: That's more like it! Oh, God, is this how Sully felt raising me?
WILSON: Who is Sully?
NATHAN: No time! Let's move! The lights go out briefly, and comic book sounds of punching, fighting, and gunshots can be heard. Then, stage left lights up, showing Nathan and Wilson at the helm of the ship. Life is good, Friend. Life is good. Stage right goes dark, stage left is lit as a woman enters the room.
SALLY: Are you two playing again? Jordan, I thought I'd never get you off those games.
JORDAN: Thanks, Mom.
SALLY: Anyway, supper's ready. I'm glad to see you two playing together again. As Sally leaves, Jordan messes with Tommy's hair.
JORDAN: Come on, Little Man. Let's get some food.

PoesíaThis semester, I'm in a Creative Writing course, and I figured I'd publish some of the things I've written in it thus far. Some of them have very specific formats that are going to be tricky to write on a laptop, but I'm going to do my best.
