A Hat In Time Parent Scenarios (On Pause)

You had a nightmare / You call them dad

Snatcher

You shoot up in panic as you just had a nightmare. Of course, you had nightmares before, but that was before Snatcher took you in. That had been almost a year ago and you are now three.

And as any three year old would, you got out of your bed which Snatcher had gotten you, he probably stole it, and ran to his house/tree home. Snatcher had decided that his house didn't have enough space for two people, so he got his Minions to build a small house near his. That became your new room and everyone gave you stuff to fill it with.

You tried to run up to the entrance, but nearly slipped, so you just walked fast to avoid falling. Once you reached the entrance you immediately run over to the chair, which Snatcher sat in. Currently he was reading one of his favourite books, 'How to kill kids 2', although he always says the first one is better.

"Oh, hey kid. Shouldn't you be asleep?" He asked when you hugged his arm. "I had a nightmare." You wimperd quietly, yet Snatcher still heard. He sighed and picked you up.

"Do you want to talk about it kid?" You shook your head violently as you were already trying to forget about it, but you were sure you wouldn't be able to go back to sleep alone. Another sigh and Snatcher spoke, "I guess you can stay here."

He placed you down on his lap and you immediately snuggled into him and said, "Goodnight, dad." which made him freeze. But soon he picked up his book again and held you while you slept. Unbeknownst to you, he was desperately trying to hide his smile.

Bonus because I took to long

The next morning, Hat Kid came over to complete another death wish. Ever since you came Snatcher hasn't been coming over as much, but she couldn't complain. You were like a baby sibling to her!

Anyway, when Hat Kid came to the entrance of the tree she was about to call out, but stopped when she saw Snatcher and you. Apparently Snatcher had fallen asleep after a while, so he was laying there, book on his face and you in his arms.

Hat kid immediately puts on the camera badge and snaps a foto of the scene, then leaves the forest, deciding that she can come back later for the death wish.
No one likes those anyway.

Conductor

So Conductor had to bring you to work again cause you were being stubborn. He sat you down on the sidelines, told an Express Owl to watch you and gave you some toys. Everything was going well, the Express Owls liked watching over you due to it being a break from filming and you not making to much trouble.

There was only one problem. They had lost the time while filming and only noticed when you were getting cranky. Conductor told everyone to pack up and that filming was over for the day. So that's what everyone did. Only when they got to the reception did they notice something.

Because you were being stubborn, Conductor had forgotten his keys to the studio, but that wasn't a problem due to DJ Peckneck also having those keys. But, because no one told Grooves that Conductor didn't have his keys, he automatically assumed he did have them and locked the door when Grooves noticed Conductor was doing overtime.

Usually, that would be fine because Conductor could just unlock the door, but he couldn't. Now everyone had to sleep inside the studio because they couldn't get out. There were a few beds in the Owl Express, so Conductor told the Owls they could use those.
