A/N: And here we are. Our next chapter. I know it's been a while, and I've been waiting so long to write this chapter. And without further interruptions, our next chapter.

Emma's POV:

It was a very LONG walk of silence back to the house. My father walked in front of us and his posture was all angry. We walked inside and there was my Uncle Scott in the lounge. He was sitting in one of the armchairs and glanced up at us. My father gestured for us to sit and he sat in the other armchair and they both looked at us.

Alex and I sat next to each other on the couch. I looked at my dad and my uncle, "what's going on?"

My uncle sighed, "I wished I didn't have to tell you but your parents wanted you to know, but I have some contacts that have told me that a very powerful and formally dead nephillium is after you. And he's working with Lucifer it seems like to get you... if you ever hear the name-"

I interrupted my uncle, "his name is Dante. He's using devilcraft." My uncle and my dad looked at me dumbfounded.

My dad looked at me worried, "how did you know that?" I shrugged and before I could even speak there was a seismic wake and a loud explosion outside the house emitting a bright white burst of light that blinded us from inside the house. We all covered our eyes. My dad spoke loudly, "what the hell?!" The light faded and we all ran out to the front porch and saw a large mass of people in our front yard. A man stood at the front of the people holding a glowing blue sword.

I winced and held my head. The presence of that sword being near me was giving this immense headache. As if someone was pounding on my brain with a hammer. My father put me behind him, and my uncle put Alex behind him. He had very dark hair and very unnatural bright blue eyes that matched the glow of his sword. He walked forward and my headache got worse. It was the sword. The man grinned at me, his almost perfect teeth had almost like vampire fangs in them and I gasped a little, and the man laughed, "I knew you and Nora would make such a scared offspring. Just look at her cowering in fear!"

I glanced up at dad, and I could tell by his posture that he was in defensive mode, but there was something else. He was scared. I watched the man, "Dad, who is that?" I whispered.

Before my dad could answer, the man laughed, "You didn't tell your daughter about me? Why dear, my name is Dante Materazzi. But you can call me Dante." That was him. The Dante that my mother and father told me about. I shifted a bit more behind my dad and he pulled me close behind him keeping a hand on me at all times.

Dante grinned, "I have a proposal for you, Patch Cipriano!" He snapped his fingers and like when the Red Sea parted for Moses, Dante's sea of men parted and 2 men escorted a feminine figure towards us. She lifted her head and I heard my father gasp softly. I looked and saw it was my mom. I couldn't help but surge forward.

"MOM!!" I yelled and my father caught me before I could run off the porch. I called out for my mother as I squirmed in my father's arms. I watched as Dante sneered.

I stopped fighting and I glared at him with a fire of hatred. I imagined the man beside him bursting into fire and as soon as I thought it, the man to Dante's right burst into flames. He screamed as he dropped to the ground and rolled around in the grass trying to put himself out. The sea of men stepped back away from the man on fire and Dante stood there unfazed watching. I kept glaring at the man on fire imagining the flames growing in height and intensity and then the screams stopped and the fire faded. I could sense the man was dead.

My father loosened his grip on me and I was able to burst from his arms. I jumped from the deck and landed softly on the grass. My father tried to run to me but got bounced back as if there was a force field keeping him on the porch. I stalked towards Dante imaging his sea of men bursting into flames. Half of them did. I imagined all the flames growing with intensity and strength and I watched half his men drop. Dante glared at me pissed off and in shock. I stood my ground and glared at him. I spoke with a voice that I didn't recognize, "Give me my mother. Now." The men holding my mother let go and backed away. Dante surged to grab my mother before she could get away. He kicked her knee out from under her and everyone heard the snap as her knee broke. She screamed in pain. I glared at him.

Dante grinned, "and here I thought we could have a nice swap, you for your mother. And now you can have her dead." He went to stab her with his sword and I screamed and all of a sudden another explosion erupted in between the two of them knocking both Dante and my mother back separating them.

And there a figure stood with iridescent wings flapping in the air as she hovered above the ground guarding my mother. Her hair flowing in the wind that her wings were making. She was beautiful. She landed on the ground holding her sword out towards Dante, "I would leave if I were you. While you still have a chance." Dante was bleeding blue and he sneered, "you won't get away with this. Any of you!" And in a flash of light he was gone.

The angel turned towards my mother and knelt beside her. She put her hands over her wounds and my mother began to heal. Her leg snapped back into place and the angel helped my mother sit up. The barrier holding my father was down and he ran to my mother and pulled her into his arms, "I'm so sorry Angel."

I ran to my parents and looked up at the angel, "who are you?" Now I was able to get a good look at her, her hair was black and her eyes were a steel grey matching my own and my mother's.

The angel smiled and furled her wings, "My name is Kara Cipriano and I'm your baby sister."
