A/N: I know it's been a while yall and I'm sorry. Life got in the way and of course I was at a writer's block. But I'm back now and ready to write again! Where we left off, Emma collapsed after fighting with Rixon and Patch caught her.

Emma's POV:

I woke with a start and looked around. Or thought I woke up. I was in another dreamscape. I wasn't in a cage this time. I was on the floor in a throne room. I glanced up at the throne and saw a figure and groaned, "Look this is getting old Lucifer. I just want you to leave me alone!"

The figure- Lucifer stood up and walked to me, "You know I can't do that Emmaline. You're my ticket home."

I rolled my eyes, "You are home. Your home is hell. Where you belong." I looked around the throne room. The fires of hell burn bright through the throne room's windows.

Lucifer smiled, "You're the only one so far that can stand the fires of hell and manipulate them and cut through the doors of heaven." That was why he wanted me. That's what my powers are. After all this time of knowing I could blow things up with my mind, I finally knew what my powers actually were.

I looked at him and the throne room starts to crumble. I gasped and looked around and everything faded to black.

Patch POV:

I sat beside my daughter's bed worrying about her. Her devilcraft cut was healed but she was still unconscious. She used a lot of power scaring Rixon off. Speaking of her power, I'd never seen anything like that my entire existence not from an angel and not from a nephilium.

I was lost in thought and didn't hear Nora walk up behind me and put her hand on my shoulder. I jumped slightly and looked up at her and put my hand over hers and sighed, "Angel, it's my fault."

Nora sat on the bed next to Emma and took my hand and Emma's, "What happened to Emma is not your fault, Patch. These are forces that are beyond us. We are in new territory. I saw what happened out there, there was nothing you could have done to stop Emma from activating her powers again." I sighed knowing she was right.

I looked at her and kissed her hand and felt the hairs on my arms rise. I looked at her, "There's an angel here. I will be right back. Stay with Emma." I hurried down the steps and peeked out the window and saw Scott and Basso. A weird pairing. I opened the door for both of them, "Scott. Basso. Come in."

I let both angels in and led them to the living room, "So what brings both of you by?" I sat down in my arm chair and both of them sat on the couch.

Scott sighed and Basso laced his fingers together in his lap, "Its about your daughter, Jev."

I looked at Scott and back to Basso, "What about my daughter?" I looked at both of them thinking. The timing and the activation of her powers are more than likely the reason for the visit from an archangel and Emma's guardian angel.

Basso sighed and looked at me, "Because she's a hybrid of angel and nephilium, we knew that she was potentially dangerous. What we didn't know was that she would have this much power. Jev, she's the embodiment of the holy flame. She can manipulate the holy fires of Heaven and the fires of Hell. That is why Lucifer wants her. For her to cut through the gates of Heaven and Hell for him to return."

I sat there in shock thinking. It made sense. Why she was engulfed in flames after igniting her sword. Basso coughed a little, "That's not the only thing, Jev. That boy, Alexander Sparks? We looked into him like you asked. He is nephilium. We found out his birth mother died in a fire when he was seven and he was put into foster care and was adopted fairly quickly afterwards."

I nodded, "So who's the father?" I, like Scott, was curious about this boy that my daughter was best friends with since they were in kindergarten.

Basso frowned, "That's the thing, there is nothing in the archives. He was conceived during that time that you and Nora were in hiding while the rest of the Heavenly host was resealing the Hellfires after Lucifer escaped for a day and was resealed back in Hell. The assumption that myself and some of my colleagues are and that we are hoping we're wrong is this is Lucifer's offspring somehow. If we're right, someone has hidden him from Lucifer and that's why he's coming for your daughter. If Lucifer knew he had an offspring he could take control over that offspring and that offspring could open hell for him."

I frowned, "So how do we prove that this boy is or isn't Lucifer's son?" I looked at Scott and Basso.

Basso looked to be in thought, "Well, if he were here, all I would need to do is probe his mind and enter his subconscious and get the memories from his infancy." And like clockwork there was a knock on the door.

I got up and looked out the window of the door and saw Alex, Emma's best friend. I opened the door, "Alex. What brings you by?"

Alex looks at me and extends his hand to me, "Mr. Cipriano! I was coming by to check on Emma. Kara texted me from Emma's phone telling me what happened."

I nodded, "Right, um, before you go up I'd like you to meet Emma's guardian angel and a friend of mine." I led him into the living room, "Alex meet Scott and Basso. Scott is Emma's guardian angel and Basso a friend of mine. I was telling them about how you've been helping protect Emma. They just wanted to meet you."

Alex looked at me and nodded, "Well that's good to know I've been on your good side, sir. And a pleasure to meet both of you." Alex shook Scott's hand and then Basso. I glanced at Basso when he shook Alex's hand and he nodded.

I nodded to Alex, "You can go on up, I'm sure she'll appreciate it if she wakes up and you're here." I watched Alex walk up the stairs and I looked at Basso, "So..?"

I sat back down facing Basso and his expression looked grim, "I confirmed our suspicions. That boy is Lucifer's son."

Scott and I exchanged looks, "Does he know?" Basso shook his head, "So what do we do Basso?" Scott asked.

Basso thought for a minute, "This could work in our favor. We have two of the most powerful beings in this house. If those two were to work together against Lucifer, it could turn the tide of the war and we could seal Hell off to one gate." Basso looked at me sadly.

I looked at him, "Not that gate."

Basso sighed, "Jev, your daughter and that boy are the only ones that can get close enough to the Hellmouth to seal Hell off from the mortal world without catching fire. The only other entrance is Heaven."

I frowned, "She's not ready. Neither is he. I'm not sending my daughter on a suicide mission. Who's to say Lucifer doesn't have demons stationed there?"

Basso looked at me pointedly, "Your daughter single handily took on a small army of demons at the age of fourteen, Jev! If she can utilize those abilities again, she could close the Hellmouth forever, and the doomsday prophecy would never come to pass. Besides, you'll train them. After all, you're one of our best."

I sighed holding my head in my hands, "I'll do it."
