As soon as all of them were out of the hall, the Eve angrily threw the gun that had killed the pig-creature at the wall, seeing it fall to the ground with a loud clatter before she turned and stormed past the Doctor who was watching her carefully.
The Eve had just been as merciful as she'd been in a long time without his guidance but he knew that the next person to piss her off was going to die, and he wouldn't be able to save them even if he tried.

"I just assumed that's what aliens look like. But you're saying it's an ordinary pig from Earth?" Toshiko Sato, the injured woman from before, asked the Doctor and the Eve as they all stood around the autopsy table the pig-creature laid on.
"More like a mermaid." The Doctor shook his head, getting a confused look from Dr. Sato.
"Victorian showmen used to draw the crowds by taking the skull of a cat, gluing it to a fish and calling it a mermaid. Now someone's taken a pig, opened up its brain, stuck bits on, then they've strapped it in that ship and made it dive bomb. It must've been terrified." The Doctor explained, feeling pity for the creature who had died so needlessly.
"They've taken this animal and turned it into a joke." The Eve bit out, her jaw clenched at the pain she knew the creature must've felt.
"So it's a fake, a pretend, like the mermaid. But the technology augmenting its brain, it's like nothing on Earth. It's alien. Aliens are faking aliens. But why would they do that? Doctor?" Toshiko asked looking down at the pig before looking back up when she got no answer, only to see both the Doctor and the Eve had vanished.
"Doctor? Eve?" Toshiko's voice echoed down the hall after the Time Lords, but neither of them paid her any mind. They had more important things to worry about for now, like getting back to Rose.

"Here's to the Martians!" Jackie cheered, lifting her glass into the air.
"The Martians!" Everyone in the Tyler flat, save for Rose, cheered back, lifting their drinks as well.
"Crisis, with no head of state. Since the Royal Family have been evacuated-" The anchor for 'News 24' droned on just as Mickey entered the flat, making everyone go quiet.
"I was going to come and see you," Rose said, getting on her feet immediately.
"Someone owes Mickey an apology," Ru announced.
"I'm sorry." Rose winced, feeling terrible.
"Not you," Ru assured the girl, only confusing her when the woman looked at Jackie instead.
"Well, it's not my fault. Be fair. What was I supposed to think?" Jackie asked rhetorically, giving Mickey a once over before moving into the kitchen with Rose and her boyfriend right behind her.

"You disappear, who do they turn to? Your boyfriend. Five times I was taken in for questioning. Five times. No evidence. Course, there couldn't be, could there? And then I get her, your mother, whispering around the estate, pointing the finger. Stuff through my letterbox, and all 'cos of you." Mickey ranted, pacing the length of the kitchen.
