After a lot of quarels, stop overs, bathroom breaks, asking mom for snacks...

We've finally arrived at our house near the lake, I love the cosy vibe of it. It's very small compared to our mansion that is very modern and mostly neutral colors. This cabin has more like a jungle-vibe. I don't really want our house (the one in the city) to be like this because it's too much. Our house is cosy too but we like to stick with the neutrals because it feels more timeless. As of this place, the interior design matches the outdoor-nature type of vibe.

The boys share rooms in this cabin since it only has 2 rooms upstairs and 1 room downstairs. There's a customized bed just for them a bunk bed but it has 3 instead of two. Tres is a little scared of heights so he sleeps at the bottom. Uno not minding anything at all was in the middle and our trouble maker at the top as predicted.

Our princess has a princess themed room. She requested that she wants a pink unicorn theme and whatever Yosra wants, Yosra gets.

As for me and Zyraj our room was a typical parent room but we have a huge bathroom,it has it's own sauna and jet tub for our 'pleasure'.

We're going to rest for now, lounge around. Because tomorrow it the start of our adventure.

The whole week all we did was, hike in the morning, after hiking we would cook outdoors and fish at the lake but freeing it again once we saw it's breed. Most fishes here aren't edible so me and the boys just like to enjoy its beauty. We would talk about guy stuffs while the ladies take their time preparing our food. Zy and YB both like cooking. So they would bond cooking while me and the boys are having fun of our own.

After breakfast we would chill for a while and when it's afternoon we swim at the lake, boat for a while, play games outside. When it's the evening we would roast mallows, make smores and tell ghost stories. We would lay outside and watch the stars. Sometimes we gather at the fire place and play board games.

"But why did the princess became a horse?"

Yosra exclaimed while listening to Tres' make believe fairytale.

"Because it's the curse of the witch, because she did not let the horse drink from the well."

Zion explained while his siblings watch him tell his story in our 'camp'.

" She deserves it."

Zane scoffed and Zeus disagreed.

"No she doesn't, she's just protecting her town because they would get sick and then they would die of startvation."

He said very passionately as if he's there to experience it.

Once the kids are asleep my and my wife went outside for an evening walk.

The moon was shining perfectly while we walk and held hands.

"It's nice being like this for a while huh?" 

I asked, looking at her. She glanced at me then unto the lake.

"Oo, nakalimutan ko na kung kelan tayo huling lumabas ng tayo lang."

She agreed, I stopped walking and she looked at me worried. I didn't say a word. I just kiss her as the moon illuminates us. It was a quick peck on the lips and she smiled in response.

We talked for god knows how long... sharing all our fears and excitement when our kids grow old, when they start to have a relationship,  get married, have kids of their own. Our little empire would be much bigger.

We haven't done this in a while and it made me appreciate the relationship I have with Zy, it reminded me how much I love the company of my wife. How she's my best friend and enemy at the same time.

It's already midnight and we decided to go back to the cabin after a few bottles of wine and a lot of stories we shared. I carried her to our room because she's too drunk to even walk. Zy has very  low alcohol tolerance and when she's drunk she can't take care of herself, she can't even undress on her own. Plus, she's very wild and horny...

We'll, let's just say we had a rough night. That's a story for another occasion.
