(I know I told y'all you would like this one but I'm literally shit at flirting so I'm so fucking sorry omg)

Shane couldn't tell if he was lucky or unlucky in his love life.

On one hand, he had the most amazing guy ever who decided to stick around with his bullshit no matter what. But on the other hand-

He is so damn oblivious.

Ryan Bergara is his best friend, they've been together for a good portion of Shane's life, and over that time Shane had developed feeling for Ryan that were more than just friends. It happens. Shane was completely head over heels for the dude, and Ryan clearly knew that. He wasn't very subtle about it. Ryan, had also clearly showed he had interest in Shane (thank goodness), but he doesn't even seem to realize it for himself.

Ryan doesn't realize he has a crush on his best friend.

So what does your local genius (Shane, duh), decide to do? Well uh- go to a coffee shop apparently.

Their Saturday morning started off like it usually did while they were filming, a trip to the local coffee shop and then heading on their way to the location. Except today it started pouring.

Shane sat at the table across from Ryan, the rest of the crew had decided to just stay behind and meet them there, saying it was going to rain. Well of course Ryan didn't believe them and dragged Shane out anyways.

"By the way, thanks Ry." Shane hummed between sips, "really nice of you to get us soaked right before filming."

"Shane you know you can never believe the weather people!" He exclaimed, their seat by the window making raised voices a necessity with the pounding rain on the windows.

"Sure whatever babe but you can't complain when you're walking back without an umbrella." He watched Ryan flush at the nickname and study the label on his coffee cup.

"Wait you have an umbrella?" He opted to change the subject.

"Yeah, that you don't get to share, maybe if you did something for me I'd let you borrow it." He shrugged calmly

"Shut up Shane." Ryan rolled his eyes and took the last sip of his coffee. "Let's go." So the two got up and headed out of the shop, Shane standing perfectly dry under is quite small umbrella while Ryan walked off to the side, his hair dripping and plastered to his forehead.

The didn't even walk for 5 minutes before Shane noticed Ryan shivering and caved. He sighed heavily. "Come here," he said, pulling Ryan under the umbrella. "It's cold when your soaking wet huh." He said rhetorically, wrapping an arm around the mans waist.

"Shane? What are you doing?"

"I'm just keeping you warm baby," he paused for a second, scanning Ryan with his eyes, "how is the hottest person alive still cold?" Ryan rolled his eyes at Shane and attempted to trip him, however his gangly legs just stepped over his foot. He winked at Ryan. "Nice try."

"Shane what are you playing at?" Ryan asked, but he didn't get the chance to answer as they arrived at their location. Filming their introduction was quite normal, although every time Shane casually called Ryan 'Baby' or 'Sweetheart' he looked closer and closer to insanity. It was awfully amusing, and Shane started to play 'how long will it take Ryan to stop rejecting it and realize he likes me.'

They walked through the haunted location, Shane spotting a closet and walking over to it, walking inside calmly. It was fairly small but both him and Ryan fit in easily as the boy followed. Suddenly, totally because of the wind and not a ghost, shut the door behind them.

What better time to crack a joke then when you and your crush are locked in a closet, right?

"You know instead of here we can always just go back to my apartment." Shane smirked, watching Ryan's eyes narrow as his ears got red.

"Shut up Shane!" He pushed Shane's chest and he stumbled back into the wall with a chuckle.

"Mmm you're going to have to work harder for me to shut up." He said calmly, leaving the closet with a flustered Ryan in it for him to do lockdown.

Ryan wasn't even scared when he came out. To be fair, Shane did give him some things to think about, but it was still disappointing.

Shane went in for his 5 minutes and came out, sliding his arm around Ryan casually. "Where to next love?" He smirked down at Ryan, who gave him the 'I'm going to kill you' look.

The rest of the tour went on quite normal, they left and went back to their rooms. Shane hopped in the shower, wrapping his towel around his waist and coming out, looking at Ryan, who was certainly not looking him in the eye. The boy was staring blow his neck, and maybe even further than his chest.

"Like what you see ry? Just say the word and it's all yours baby." Ryan's face heated up again and Shane couldn't help but let a sly grin on his face.

"Shane what is wrong with you today?"

"Damn you don't like it? I thought I'd finally get something through that adorably thick head." He shrugged. "But I can always take more drastic measures to get it to you if I have to." He purred. Maybe it was the tone in his voice, or he finally figured it out, but clearly Ryan was done with his bullshit, because the next thing he knew his back was pressed against the wall and Ryan's lips were on his.

They broke apart a moment later, Shane grinning while Ryan still looked pissed. "You little shit! You've been teasing me all day!" He declared like Shane had no idea what he had been doing. "I've had a crush on you for months!"

"Congrats ry, you are officially the last one to know." He received a punch to his shoulder and he laughed.

"I hate you Shane."

"Not what you'll be saying later." He winked

"Stop it!!" Shane leaned down to kiss him again and Ryan swerved away from him. "No way! You don't deserve it anymore!" He hopped up on the bed like that was going to stop Shane.

It didn't.

Well, his method worked.
