chap. 7 - hoco

previously:
"fuck you dom, i'm just a bitch that you can use like lily did to you" i say and he nods while walking out of the room. "i need a advil" my dad says while rubbing his temples "i need vodka" nurse mack says and we laugh "same" jaden says and i slap his arm and give him a little peck. "i'm still so fucking confused" bailey says and we all laugh.

a week later...
finley's pov:
"i can't wait to leave, no offense mack" i say and she laughs "well go get changed and get out of here and none taken" she says while giving me a quick hug. i quickly go get changed into the clothes i was wearing the night before "i need some different clothes" i say while walking out of the bathroom and everyone laughs. i grab everything else out of the bag and walk out of the hospital, "bubba can you come to mine and we can cuddle and watch netflix?" i ask and he nods. "oh shit!" jaden says while we enter my dad's car, "what?" i ask confused "i'm technically still lily's homecoming date" he says as he started typing on his phone "are you texting her?" i ask and he nods "oh okay" i say while feeling a wave of jealously fly over me. i start scrolling through instagram and i see lily's and jaden's most recent post, "oh" i say while trying to bite my lip, "what fin?" he asks "nothing" i say and eden looks over my shoulder and laughs. "yeah nothing" she whispers in my ear while looking at jaden's post with lily and laughing. "dad i'm starving can we pick up food?" i ask and he nods while turning off the main road. "what do y'all want to eat?" he asks "mexican!" bailey yells and i nod in agreement "jaden?" he ask and he nods while not looking up at his phone. i quickly peer over his shoulder and he's still texting her, we drive in front of the dress store. i point to it, "dad can we go dress shopping today after i get cleaned up?" i ask "yes pumpkin" he says while turning into our favorite taco spot "did she answer?" i ask jaden and i hear a slight murmur. "i'm just going to grab the food to go" my dad says as he parks and we all nod while sitting in the back of the car. i rock back and forth until my dad comes back, "you broke her" bailey says to jaden as she checks the mirror, and i feel jaden turn "what?" he says and i feel eyes starting to stare at me, "fin?" he says and i turn "yes?" i say quietly while turning towards him "are you okay?" he asks and i slowly nod, "we have been friends since birth come on, what's wrong?" he asks again "i'm fucking jealous, you know how hot lily is and i don't want to lose you, i'm so stupid" i say as jaden brings me into a tight hug. "your hotter than she ever was finley, and your the smartest person i know" he says and he kisses my forehead and put my head on his shoulder and close my eyes while my dad drives home, i quickly drift asleep.

- time skip to when the get home -

my eyes flutter open and i feel someone pick me up out of the car and start walking. i open my eyes and see that it's jaden but i pretend i'm still sleeping so he can keep carrying me and i feel him plop me down on the couch so i open my eyes. "good morning beautiful" jaden says as he kisses my forehead "morning bubba" i say. "i'm starving" i say while grabbing my steak tacos and the chips and guacamole, "i will kill someone to have this fucking guacamole recipe" baileys says and everyone laughs and i nod in agreement. "dad, where did mom go?" i ask "she went to the apartment in paris" he says and i nod "wait my apartment in paris?" i ask and bailey laughs "yes darling" he says. we all finish eating and i start getting ready i shower and get changed.

- the outfit -

i quickly curled my hair and put mascara and lipgloss on, and walked downstairs. "is everyone ready?" i asked and i see all my friends waiting, i hear murmurs of yes, yep and sure "okay kids pile into three cars" my dad says as he hands me and bailey keys. eden, indigo, and amber along with jaden pile into my car and the rest disperse with my dad and bailey. we arrive at the dress store and me and the girls run around the store looking for dresses, "are dresses are all matching right?" eden asks and we all nod excitedly "this year and next year is going to be the best of high school" i say excitedly and the girls and me join in a group hug "colors what are we thinking?" indigo asks "pastel?" eden says "jewel tones" beatrix says excitedly "that would be beautiful" amber says and we all nod. we start looking around the store looking for jewel tones that would match and looking amazing on our skin tones.
