CHAPTER 43

Unknown's POV

Time flies, night changes, we have walked different paths in lives. We made mistakes, learn, and try to change it.

We lost things so we tend to appreciate what we have. Mahirap kasi sa tao, we focus on the things we want to achieve so we lost the track of what wu truly deserve.

Looking into our old photo, I can't help but to let the nostalgia build up.

Pilit kasi yung ngiti. Doon ko narealize na we should have seize the moment. May aalis, may maiiwan, but what's important is let them go, you have to see them fly, build their own life.

"Hey.."

Unti unting napangiti.

Standing infront of me is a successful archeologist.

"Kang..."

I can't help but to smile, ang daming nagbago.

"Mag-dinner muna tayo tanga."

"I have a party to attend."

One last time.

"Welcome to Vision Galleria"

Every steps toned every heart beats. Every eyes visions every mind. Every words keep replaying on my mind.

Masterpieces...

Arts...

All of them are product of a creative mind.

My eyes captured a captivating painting.

My heart beats loud...

In the painting were a woman and a girl sitting on her lap. The woman's eyes were covered by a white bandage. While the girl's just looking at her intently.

Napatingin akong mabuti. I think the girl is just five to seven years old based on her features.

Tears are streaming down the girl's face.

She was holding a sketchpad and a pencil...

'To the one I miss the most' are the words written on the sketchpad.

Suddenly, applauses and voices of appreciation became louder as the footsteps became nearer.

I am afraid to look so I hide myself and the thing I am holding. Everyone became silent as a feminine voice spoke.

"Maybe some of you are still confused as to why a thirteen year-old young woman made her way into this prestigious museum. "

My heart melts...

"But I don't really care if some of you still doubts my talent."

She spoke like a matured woman. I can't be more proud.

"Besides, it's my life and I'm doing it my way. I am here to present my artwork inspired by pieta."

All of them remain silent, I'm afraid to even breathe.

"The idea of the child on her parent's lap was inspired by the famous Pieta." She continued.

"Because once upon a time, there was this little girl who adores her a precious lady so much then there's this incredible woman who willingly gave everything to all people but herself."

I heard her chuckle.

"One afternoon, the woman called the little girl. She made her sit on her lap. She laugh to cover the real dilemma. The little girl, on the other hand understands the problem but acted as if she really don't see it."

Huminga ako ng malalim.

"As you can see, the woman's eyes were covered by white bandage..... she was blind."

My heart keeps on pounding.

"While the little girl's silently crying because she understands the whole situation but chose to remain quiet. The blind woman without knowing what the younger have in mind, thought it was alright to lie to her."

She paused,

"She said she'll be away for a while, but she'll be back soon...."

I heard her breathings.

".....but she didn't cameback."

"Maybe, the significance of this painting is first, children are like blank pages, kung ano ang magmamarka sa kanila, iyon ang magiging laman ng bawat pahina. Secondly, lahat ng tao ay may pakiramdam so obviously each one has the right to express what they want. Sadly, kapag bata ka, hindi ka papakinggan because the society keeps on saying that a child has more to learn. So these children tends to keep what they feel in their mind causing their anxieties to build up. Lastly, promises were always made to be fulfilled."

She paused again...

"Maybe some of you are wondering why i put on the last significance. But as what my last statement told you, she didn't came back...yet"

"But I really don't mind waiting kahit pa matanda na ako.

...princess...

that ladies in the painting....

they were me and Ella.

"....because she has to see what I've become."
