anthony walked into our bedroom and walked toward the thermostat.

"don't touch that, the temperature is fine," i say without looking up from my phone.

"didn't know you were the only one who had to be comfortable in OUR bedroom." he states, still walking towards it.

this time I look up, "i'm serious don't touch it.

"can i see the fucking temperature?" he rolls his eyes.

"why does it matter?"

"my curiosity i guess."

"can't you go back to the living room and play with the boys?"

"so first it's 'you need to get off that game' that?"

me and anthony never fought until now. the corona virus shut down everything and because we had been traveling not long ago, we agreed to stay in for a month to be safe before we began social distancing. it was week two and we had gone from lots and lots of "bored games" to my period coming early and lots of fighting.

"i'm on my fucking period and it's hard for me to get comfortable so sorry i don't want you to mess with the temperature," i roll my eyes.

"okay but i can't check it? " he replies with his arms crossed.

"why can't you just be nice?" i say with heart eyes.

anthony's arms unfold as his face drops and he rushes to the bed to comfort me.

"you're right, i should be more aware of what you need right now. i'm sorry bubs," he says with his lip out.

i sniffle and not in response, leaning into him.

"it's okay, i'm being bitchy," i reassure him.

"no you're going through a lot mamas, you get comfy and i'll order some chick-fil-a okay?"

i nod with a smile and lay back down while he grabs his phone from his living room. i scroll through some tiktoks as he orders. he joins me in bed and lies on his stomach next to me while rubbing small circle on my stomach.

"i got you two milkshakes, one for now and the other for later or tomorrow," he tells me.

"you're the best my love," i smile while playing with his hair.

"some grey's anatomy while we wait ?" he asks while looking up.

i hand him the remote and put my phone down before settling in a bit more and watching my favorite show.
