i was invited to a huge pool party and i came dressed in my cutest bikini, hoping for jaden to notice. i sat down next to anthony on the couch. i lay my head on his shoulder and sighed with disappointment.

"you know huffing and puffing about jaden won't make your relationship official," he chucked.

i sat up straight and gave him a dirty look, "what happened to comforting ant? i liked him."

"look all i'm saying is you might wanna go do something before that girl by the pool kisses him," he tells me while pouting towards the pull.

i turn my head to see a pretty girl flirting with and him smirking and what looked like flirting back. she ruffled his hair and laughed as he smiled laughed along with her while looking her up and down.

"kiss me," i say.

"i'm sorry what?" anthony says after spitting his drink in his cup.

"kiss me," i repeat, "come on ant, it he can we with other people why can't i?"

"i don't think avanii would like that very much," he laughs.

"i always forget you two aren't just flirtatious friends anymore, where's troy?" i ask.

"y/n do you really want to do this? i mean don't think you should stoop to his level," he reasons.

"troy's sitting on the pool ledge, i'll see you later," i tell him, ignoring his statement.

i walk outside and sit next to troy.

"are you talking to someone?" i ask.

"no?" he states in a confused voice.

"me and jaden are doing everything in a relationship but it isn't official. he comes and sleeps over whenever he pleases, kisses me, calls me nicknames, says i love you, the whole thing except it's not official so he can go and flirt with other girls and it really hurts," i explain.

"i'm sorry, maybe he'll realize things and change ?"

"troy, can you kiss me ?"

"you want me to kiss you ? to make him jealous ?"

"please! he always does this and i never say anything so i really need to show him i don't care."

he smiles, pushes my chin up with his finger and kisses me. i pull away quickly and get up.

"i have to go," I rush out.

"h/n wait," he calls out but i was already on my way inside the house to leave.

"woah going somewhere ?" jaden asks while stopping me at the front door.

"this is over. we are over. whatever this was, were just friends and that's that," i tell him before pushing past him  and leaving to go home.

i think i was in love with the wrong guy.
