We reached back the hotel on a happy note.

We headed straight to Waeska, the bar of the hotel, to have dinner and get a few drinks.

When we entered the bar, it was warm so both of us removed our coat and hung it on the coat stand. I had almost forgotten that I was wearing a skin-tight dress beneath.

"You really are breath-taking," Ace whispered near me before taking my hand towards a table for two.

I asked Ace to get me a non-alcoholic drink only to find out there was none. I ordered Calamansi, a cocktail of Grey Goose vodka, Muyu Chinotto, calamansi, vanilla butter, passionfruit, and beetroot. It didn't look as bad as the rest of the cocktail on the menu.

Ace ordered the Devil's Claw, a cocktail of Bombay Sapphire gin, Perrier-Jouët Champagne, Ginjo sake, Pandan and devil's claw tincture.

The cocktails here honors the ethnobotany concept and the drinks all had medical properties.

I only got myself a salad for my dinner. Ace ordered steak since he said he was craving for it. When our food arrived I stared at his food only to realize I was hungry after all.

"Mine," he pointed at the steak and I pouted. I impaled the salad with my fork as if I was mad at it, right before I could place it in my mouth, Ace fed me a piece of his steak.

"Chase might punch me if you go home looking like a stick," he smiled and I rolled my eyes.

I could barely count the number of times I had rolled my eyes at him today, it was starting to become a habit when I was around him.

We finished our dinner quickly and was left with our cocktails to drink. I only had a sip or two since I did not really fancy the flavor, Ace finished his and had helped me with mine. Before we headed back to the Penthouse, he bought a bottle of wine.

"You wouldn't want to see me drunk," I said as we made our way back to the penthouse.

"Are you sure about that?" he asked.

"I am," I nodded.

The Penthouse was close to the Weaska so we were able to arrive quickly. I had placed my coat on the sofa when I heard the cork of the wine popped. He placed two wine glass on the table and filled it halfway.

He gave me a grin before he made his way towards me. He handed me the glass of wine and I reluctantly took it. The lights were down low since we had not turned on the rest of it. The place was very quiet so I decided to play some acoustic music.

"Are there any updates from Abigail?" I asked and he frowned.
