Ok so i've been reading the comments on the part on kion getting pregnant.
Let me tell you
In the story, there is special and rare breed of male lions that the ability to get pregnant. And so happens that kion is one of them.
And yes to one of the question it hurts alot more than a female giving birth.
I didn't in what happened with the birth so i will write it here
It was time to give birth kion was in so much pain that he couldn't focus on what he's doing or his surroundings when he started pushing he grabbed on kovu's paw with his teeth, because of how painful it was bit down on really hard making kovu feel pain also.
After the cub everyone was happy and calm except for kovu cause his paw was broken and bleeding.
There you have it i hope this clears up everything
