Bestfriends With My Doppelganger

Chapter 7

     The mall was huge. It contrasted its name which was London Mini Mall.

    "Ok, so let me call Bella and find out where she is" he speaks and he places his phone by his ear.

    Marisol links her arm with mine and scrolls through her phone. I look around my surroundings. The mall has 4 floors. We stood in the middle of the mall so I had clear view of the many floors above me.

       "She's in the food court on the third floor. Come on let's go" he says. He places his hand on Marisol and I's shoulder and walks behind us. We step on the escalator and wait until we were on the second floor. We had to take another escalator to get to the third floor and from there we walked to the food court.

     A girl waved her arm and this caught our attention. Devaughn smiled and Marisol pretty much broke out into a sprint and ran over to hug the girl.

    Devaughn chuckles and walks with me over to them. "Hey sweetie, you guys took so long to get here. I was bored out of my mind" she said as Devaughn went over to her and kissed her forehead.

     "Hey there, I'm Bella Kim. Nice to meet you" she smiles at me and shakes my hand. "Nice to meet you Bella, I'm Illiana Adams. I'm Marisol's roommate" I introduce myself.

   She was a really pretty girl. She was of Asian descent. Her hair was silky straight and jet black. She was also really short, if I could estimate just by looks I would say she is 5 feet 2 inches. She had dimples when she smiled and her eyes were a really dark brown.

      "So, is it your first time in England Illiana?" Bella asks me. "Yes it is, I haven't gotten the chance to explore or go sight seeing as yet. I just got here yesterday" I told her.

    "Devaughn and I will have to take you girls around the town" she says. She stands up and gathers her stuff, she had about 2 shopping bags in her hands.

   "So where are we off to now?" Bella asks. Marisol comes back over to me and links her arms with mine. Devaughn takes the bags from Bella and holds them in one hand and places the other arm over her shoulder.

    "Let's go into that store" Marisol says and points to a store. It was called Chic Boutique.

    We walked into the store and started to browse through the aisles of clothing. "What kind of look are you going for Illiana?" Marisol asked me.

   I saw her looking at a denim pants in her hand and she through it over her shoulder. "Casual, nothing over the top I guess" I say.

    "Do you like this?" She holds up a pair of dark blue ripped jeans that had cuffed ankles.

    "I like that, I think I'll get it but not for tonight" I said and I took the hanger from her and tossed the pants over my shoulder.

    "I think I'm going to make he beat of this warm weather, I'll get a shorts or something" I said to her.

   "Hey do you like this?" Bella asked. She holded up a black shorts that had chains hanging from each loop on the waistline.

    "Oh my gosh I love that!" Marisol says and goes to take the shorts from Bella.

   I look through the racks and I see some body suits, this remind me that I need a new pair of leotards.

     I find a plain black leotard which had one long sleeve and I threw it over my shoulder before I went over to the rack that held dresses.

    "This looks nice, let me see if I find my size" I say and I skip through the hangers until I find my size. It was a navy blue dress that had a fitted torso and spaghetti straps. The waistline had a loop on each side and a gold chain hung through them.

       From the waist downwards it was also fitted and was short but not too short to show what wasn't to be seen.

     "I like it, I think it'll look nice on you, but dresses aren't really my thing" Marisol says, by now I notice that she has more than a handful of clothes on her shoulder.

   I decide that I'm going to wear this tonight with my black ankle boots.

   I get some more clothes to have on hand for going to classes and stuff like that. To wear on a daily basis.

    After we did all that we decided that we would now have lunch together. We had small conversations and got to know each other some more.

    I learned that Bella was from Thailand and that she was 22 years old and Devaughn was 23 years old. Devaughn was studying Architecture and was now in his third year while Bella was studying medicine.

     They were really nice people from what I gathered so far and I can see that I was going to be happy around them.
