You and your friend kaede were decorating your apartment. "I'm so happy I can move in with you y/n!" You smiled at her placing a vase of f/t of flowers in the middle of the wooden table. You and kaede have been friends for about two years and out of the blue she asked if she can move in with you into an apartment and witch you gladly accepted. You guys both had separate rooms and bathrooms, and she helped you move stuff into your room and so did you. Even better you guys were accepted to hopes peak academy. You both were thrilled hoping you guys were in the same class and possibly sit next to each other.

You guys took a break and sat on some boxes sweating a little. Kaede took a sip of some water and you grabbed your bag "I'm gonna go get us some food." She nodded in reply and smiled.

When you stepped out you were greeted with a cat at your door step. "Hm?" It stares at you, "Are you lost...?" The cat walked to the next door apartment. You turned your head to the cats directions, their paws hitting the door to push it open and entered the apartment. You had an urge to look inside the place yourself and saw that you guessed they were moving in too from all the boxes. You didn't really notice ryoma at first until he spoke, "not very nice to look at what's not yours." You gasped and looked down and saw a small boy holding the cat you saw. "W-WAH I'm so sorry I didn't m-mean to I was j-just cu-

He just chuckled "don't worry kid. It's fine" you could finally breathe again and sighed in relief. "I-I see you're moving in t-too." He just nodded "Yep, That's all you're gotta know about me for now I'm that one guy that's moving in. Now go on with your day Alright?" He walked back into his place. You just stood there confused thinking 'what an interesting guy.'

You shrugged it off and went along with your day. You came back to your apartment and saw kaede silently waiting at the wooden table a phone in her hands. "Finally you took forever!" You pout "I'm sorry that I can't control a line of people in front of me!" She giggled at you.

(Timeskip to your first day of hopes peak woahhhh)

You heard the ring of your alarm clock, annoyed you turned it off and yawned. You felt that excitement and nervousness in your body when you sat up. You walked to your bathroom and brushed your teeth and used mouth wash afterwards. You began getting dressed, fixing your hair etc.  you peaked in kaede's room and saw her brushing her hair already dressed. "Oh? Your already ready silly?" You nodded grabbing a granola bar for a snack.

You guys both had your bags and you two walked out of the door. "Come on we don't wanna be late!" She skipped her way to the side walk "h-hey wait up!" You tried catching up. You were about to bump into that short guy again but you stopped yourself. "He sighed "Jeez, you really need to watch yourself kid." You pout. "Well I'm sorry sir."

"I gotta name you know?" You looked confused "you didn't even tell me your name silly!" He stayed silent until speaking "Guess your right...names ryoma hoshi" he sighed

"I'm y/n l/n!" You said with pride. He just rolled his eyes and kaede creeped up behind you two. "I see..friendship in the making" she smirked. "Huh?" Ryoma looked from behind and jumped a little. "Kaedeeeee!" You got a little irritated.

Ryoma basically just watched both of your conversations from above walking to school.

Turns out all three of you were in the same class and kaede went ahead and interacted with everyone. And you were sitting next to him "Sooo...ryoma...what's your ultimate?" You asked with curiosity. "Jeez you wanna know so much about me." You looked at him surprised and shuddered "I-if makes y-you feel better...I-i am...the ultimate y/t!" You fiddle with your thumbs.

"Ultimate tennis pro." He said. You smiled "I hope we can be friends!" You smiled. "Y-you really wanna be...my friend...?" You nodded with a big smile on your face. Ryoma giving you a small smile as well.

More time skip e
It was lunch time and kaede pokes your shoulder "Hey I'm gonna have lunch with shuichi and a couple other people wanna join? You don't have to if you don't want to though!" You looked at her confused "why wouldn't I?"

"I see you made a friend as well.." she gave you a grin "eh?" You looked at her confused

"Ryoma silly!"

"Kaedeeeee hurry up!" Kokichi said. "Okay make your decision I gotta go okay?" She smiled and walked into the hallways.

You decide to just eat outside on an bench, you enjoyed the environment out there already. You picked up some rice with your chopsticks and ate it. You didn't even realize ryoma sitting next to you until you looked to your left. 'Jesus.' You quietly said jumping a little. "Oh sorry."

"It's fine..next time let me know that you...wanna sit next to me please?
He chuckled a little.

The day went by pretty quick and just like that the day was over.

You went inside your room and wrote in your little notebook

Your not really the type of person to write how today went, you honestly like it draw it out
You drew your teacher with a sweet smile and all your class mates.
When ryoma came to your mind, you drew a cat instead of him.
'Although He's a silent distant guy, I like him! He's cool and interesting!....and he's kinda cute"
You blushed a little at your thought cupping one of your cheeks.
