At Liela's parent's house they were talking about how they were worried about Liela.
"Lisa I think she is scared to talk to us anymore. I think she doesn't want to be judged for what she is." Dane explained as he looked heartbroken.
"I think you're right , but maybe we should just give her a little space." Lisa said in an unsure tone.
"You're scared of her. How could you? She's our daughter and before you say anything. I can see it in your eye's damn it. I should have told you the truth a long time ago. I don't know why I didn't." Dane exclaimed in anger, and waved his hands in the air.
"Okay you're right I am scared , but of her well not like that not like that anyway. What are you talking about?" Lisa responded puzzled.
"Why do you think I wasn't shocked when your brother told us about Maria being part animal?" Asked Dane.
"No , you can't be serious. We have been together for over 24 years." Lisa said in shock.
"This exactly is why I didn't tell you I love you , but I don't know if you will believe me unless I show you so fine." Dane said then he turned into a cougar.
"Oh my gosh." Lisa said in shock as the man she had been with for year's turned into a large cat.
"See I'm telling the truth. I thought about telling you for a long time , but I could never do it. Anyway if this part of us scares you just tell me don't lie , but I will never tell her that part of her scares you. It will break her Lisa ." Dane said as it seemed his heart was already braking.
"I'm not scared of you or her. I'm worried about her. A little shocked , and well surprised by this . That does not change how I feel about either of you." Lisa explained.
Dane smiled and cupped her face with one hand and kissed her.
