-First Person Narrative-
I slowly opened my eyes and yawned a little bit, for it was now morning. Before I did anything else, I quickly checked my surrounding area to make that the Night Fury didn't somehow follow or find me, to which I found nothing. I sighed in relief and then calmed down a little bit. The memories of last night eventually came to mind, to which I then remembered about the ultimatum I had put upon myself. Either stay alone so I don't have to suffer with losing anyone else or... Slightly open myself back up to the world to find myself more meaning in my life... I really didn't want to choose either option. On one hand, I didn't want to keep being alone till the end of my honestly meaningless days, but on the other hand, I didn't want to have to go through the suffering of losing someone by Z̸͚̔̔͆̇̓ą̷͍̯̩͊̀́̌̿́̌l̸̛͉͌̒̍͆͐͝ġ̴̡̘̼͉́̔̈͝ͅo̷̯͒̐͘ for a third time. Whatever was left of my sanity wouldn't be able to handle losing another close friend again. So I sat there for a good while debating to myself back and forth on a decision that I eventually just couldn't make. I thought that deciding between the two options wouldn't even matter at this point, since they both would take me down a road of suffering anyway so might as well just not make the decision at all. "Now that I have gotten that somewhat sorted out, what should I do now...?" I thought as I was getting down from the tree. I remembered had found a nearly complete (and interesting) map of the entire isle from Berk about a week ago and thought about doing more exploring.
[All of map is charted relatively the same except for a some major key differences... The North Island and South Islands are not on the map (but they do still exist, Des just had an incomplete map and wasn't aware of it at the time) and The Long Beach, Unlandable Cove, and Death Head's Headland locations do not exist in this universe of Httyd (but the area that Death Head's Headland is positioned will be used for a different location)]
"The idea doesn't sound that bad if I'm being honest... and I could use a better clue of the different locations around the island." I said while I shrugged to myself. I looked at the map and decided that I was going to check out Cowpie Beach first and make my way around the edge of the map.
-A Couple Days Later Time-skip-
I had settled at Black Heart Bay after I had now pretty much transversed and explored across the entire outer edge of the map without too many complications. I did encounter a good few Whispering Deaths while I was exploring around and in the Caliban Caves, but that was nothing too difficult to escape from. Cowpie Beach was a beautiful beach for sure, definitely reminded of me of home back in the real world. While Puffin Point was a amazing view to behold with you getting the best view of the vast ocean surrounding the isle. Most of the other dragons the I had encountered on my "exploration" like a couple of Monstrous Nightmares and/or Deadly Nadders either didn't mind me being there or was about to attack me until I gave a single look with my left glowing eye. The glare seemed to give the message to them loud and clear that I was one entity that you do not want to have to deal with in a battle. The look was only for show though, I would've never actually attacked or harmed them in any way since as you already know, I'm a pacifist. After I had recalled everything I had seen and done on my little exploration journey, I looked back at the map and saw a uncharted area at the northeastern part of the isle. This piqued my interest a little bit, since I wondered why this spot hasn't been charted yet. Since it was now nighttime and most animals/people would be asleep at this time, I decided that now would be the best time to go check it out. So after I had memorized the map I packed it back in my bag, put on my half-mask and decided to head out.
It took me quite some time, but I had finally reached to the beginning of the uncharted area. I walked passed "my" part of the forest with the amount of trees becoming denser and denser the farther I traveled. I did eventually get lost in the dense forest with no sense of direction of where I was. I then had a flock of crows fly right above me that seemed like that they were heading somewhere. I then decided that it was my best bet to follow them to either get out of the woods or find the unmarked area. After a few minutes of following them, I was eventually met very massive and very tall, smooth rocks that seemed to have surrounded the entire area and blocked any conventional way to get pass them (This included trying to climb them), so this explained why no one had been able to graph this area. Luckily, this was not a problem for me to bypass. I made a single hand sign with one hand and focused my chakra to the soles of my feet, so now I was able to walk up the wall with relative ease. In about a minute or so, I was able to make it to the top of the rocks and carefully make it to the other side fine, barring a few issues. After I had made it to the other side, I walked a little bit further inward to then discover a indescribably beautiful cove (in the chapter picture shown far above) that had not been touched whatsoever my humankind. I walked around for some time and was astonished at the gorgeous scenery around me that looked like something that had just came straight out of a fairy tale. I eventually came to the outer center of the cove and found multiple caves that, when I looked inside, had massive amounts of scrap metal piles that had came from either the village or just straight up out of the earth. "Something had to have been gathering and collecting this unprecedented amount of metal and brought it back here for a unknown purpose. I thought this place was uncharted territory and no other human has been here, unless it was something else entirely. Like a..." I quickly was cut off my train of thought by the approaching sound of wings flapping. "Dragon..." I quickly finished my thought as I quickly and silently hid in a tree to quietly observe what was going on. I saw a relatively large black dragon landing in front of one of the caves with it carrying metal with him/her. I then saw the same crows that I had followed to get to this cove flew up to the dragon a seemed to caw at it as a hello of some kind. My vision was getting more blurry by the second so I couldn't identify what the species of the dragon was. I then quickly had my entire world go dark along with me not being able to move my body anymore once again. "Great..." I mumbled to myself as I fell out of the tree and thudded against the cold ground. I then immediately lost my consciousness afterwards and blacked out...
