-First Person Narrative-

Today's sky is a blue-grey brindle with the softest accents of white. The breeze was pretty ok for the highest point here on Berk. It had been a few weeks and I had now explored the entirety of the Berk Isle. I haven't encountered or seen the Night Fury again in the several weeks after that possible last encounter at the cove, which was more relieving than anything else at the moment. The back of my mind suddenly had gotten a tingling feeling, the memory of that encounter alongside others lost was creeping in like the Fury itself. It was a nice try from the memory, but it shoved it back down and out as all others before it. Sighing, I went back to the cloud gazing I was trying to do before. No thoughts... No issues...

Not too long after I had just got back to relaxing, I heard the faint sound of massive wings flapping somewhere in the distance behind me. I had a feeling that made me want to turn around, but I thought it was just instincts or paranoia trying to kick in, so I just ignored it and continued to watch the sky... I knew it had to be a dragon of some kind, but since they are everywhere on this island, it shouldn't be uncommon at all to hear them from time to time. Therefore, I didn't need to worry about it since most of them seemed to be avoidable if I knew what to do. I then took notice that
the sound was coming closer... and closer... to the point where whatever dragon was making the sound was literally right behind me. I have a quiet sigh as I slowly sat up and turned my head to take a look at whatever dragon it was this time. Wouldn't you know it... it was that exact same Night Fury once again that I had encountered on that rooftop before blacking out  along with the time I encountered it in the woods... and it seemed to now be inspecting my dual blades I had placed by a larger rock not too far from where I was. This caught me off guard ever so slightly since I wasn't exactly expecting this to happen for a third time, but on some deeper level... I knew this was bound to happen eventually. The Fury then took it's attention off of my blades and looked at me after noticing that I was there. "Hello there..." it said to me while stepping back from my blades a little bit. This legitimately made me get up completely and take a step back from the thing in surprise on what I had just heard. I knew it wasn't my psychic abilities auto-translating what they were saying for me for two reasons... First one being that those, along with the rest of my powers are completely gone currently, so there was no way that I could be understanding them that way and the second one was that way that their maw... mouth...? moved lined up perfectly to what they were saying... so it had to be them actually be speaking what I heard. I knew that the Night Fury species were smarter than most other dragons due to the book and other notes I found on it, but the degree in intelligence I was seeing from "her" was something I wasn't expecting to this level. I knew it was a "she" the second she spoke due to the voice, so that already seems to have solved one question. "What? Never seen or heard a dragon that could talk before...?" She asked while giving a chuckle. "Well... things just got a whole lot more interesting..." I thought to myself before saying. "No actually... I have not. I never heard anything about your kin having the ability to talk, let alone, seeing you being able to speak with little to no difficulty." I said back as my response to her. As I finished my sentence, I looked around to see if there was any other dragon that could be lurking around here or that could have accompanied her... but then the reminder that I only heard one pair of wings flapping came back to mind, so that already put the concern to rest. It was quite for a bit before hearing her say, "We might as well get names out of the way... the name is Shibara, but Shiba can work just as fine." She said while somewhat lying down to relax in the grass not too far off from where I was. "Name...? I don't exactly have one..." I said as I sat back down while still keeping an eye on them; I wasn't going to allow someone to know my name due to the fact that I didn't need them knowing who I was. "How could you not have a name? Everyone has some sort of name... and from what I can see, you're definitely from not from around here... are you?" She asked with some curiosity present in her voice as she had now fully laid down relaxing. I thought about second question for a second and realized that I didn't exactly take into account that that my clothes look nothing like any of what you could find here, so that was already a problem... "To the first question... I just don't know. I was just never given one... To the second question, I guess you could say that it is something similar to that..." I said while not trying to add any more information then that so couldn't use it to get a better idea on who I was.
