It had been a few days since I had been out of the cove and I had been up day and night without any form of real rest primarily trying to find resources that I think could work for masking or hiding my scent from dragons... though I'm probably going to have to go back to Berk Village to see if they have any information that could help me in that department. It was cloudy this morning just as it had been for the last couple of weeks and it didn't look like it was going to change much anytime soon. I was starting to wonder how my clone is holding up around this time as I rubbed my eyes a few times to try to wake myself up a little more awake. I slowly stepped out of my house I was making use of before having something reaching my mental psychic barrier... I checked what was trying to reach my mind and noticed that it was a message with my clone... Now knowing who it was from I allowed the message through and was given, "Shiba mentioned to me at one point that the race is going to be happening sometime later today, so you should get back here before either my chakra runs out or something happens to make me vanish...". I have a sigh as I knew I had Jinxed myself once again... I'll just have to figure this all out at a later time. "On my way back now... just give me a little more time..." I sent back as began running back to the cove, only stopping when I remembered something. "That's right... I nearly forgot that technique completely." I thought in realization before doing a single handsign. It didn't even take me any longer than a couple of minutes to reach the cove from where I was with running, keep in mind that it was nearly on the complete opposite side of the isle. I stopped using the technique when I reached the forest and ran normally from there, the forest floor now being completely blanketed by the multicolored leaves. I was able to make it to the barrier and jump it entirely with a single bound before landing with moderate ease and with it being much quieter than the last time I had came here. I quickly went between tree after tree until I saw Juniper relaxing by Shiba near the cove's water while my clone having some distance from the two. Not a noticeable detail to even take note of if you weren't looking for it, but space was intentionally there for a reason. The second Shiba looked away enough from where my clone was, I quickly took the position of where it was and had them dissipate right afterward. "Anyways, while Juniper is going to be with Moon who watching over everything... Want to take part in the race Des?" Shiba asked as she turned back around and back at me. Even though I already knew what Shiba had been saying before being here for the past days' thanks to the Shadow Clone's ability to give the user the info they had gathered when desummomed... I... still didn't even know how to answer this question "truthfully" per say. "I don't know... I could, but with what I can do even without using my powers, it wouldn't exactly be fair be for me to join in the race..." I responded to her as my answer. It technically the truth and a decently valid reason as to why I shouldn't take part in a race like this. With what I can do even when I'm not injured but being given the restriction of not being able to use or have my powers... I could honestly still be considered the fittest and skilled person in most versions of the human world. Shiba gave a short chuckle before saying, "It's not we're going to try and win anything if we complete first... The race this time around is just for fun." and then giving that same puppy-eyed look and saying, "But how about this... You join the race, and I'll not use this look on you for about half a year... Or you could not join and you could be stuck with this.", referring to that look. "How did I allow myself to end up in a situation like this again...?" I sighed in my head as I decided to make my decision between the two I was given...

It had been around an hour and Shiba decided we should go ahead and head out so we could make it to the race, so I hopped onto Shiba and she took off into flight with Juniper alongside her. "By the way... where does this race take place, Shiba?" I asked as we were flying, realizing that I didn't even know where this race was taking place or how big this actual race was. "This race, or at least the start of it is going to by Berk Village. We should be able to meet up with Moon while we are there before the race as well..." Shiba answered, looking over at the both of us before looking back in front of herself again. "Noted..." I said back as I then just sort of had my eyes sort of wander around; having the tired feeling return once again. It only took around 10 minutes to reach the village, to which I looked at its overhead view as we flew over it. I then saw a platform that was on the very edge of the village and nearly hanging off the cliff that led into the ocean below with what seemed to be six other dragons, one of them being Moon. Shiba went ahead and landed near the area and walked up to Moon with a smile and saying, "Hello there Father!". Moon turned around and gave a smile back with him saying while giving a hug to her, "Nice to see you again, Shiba. Glad you could make it." He then looked over at Juniper with a smile as well and placed him on his back, then looking over at where I was. "Ah, hello there Destroid... Nice to see you made it here too. Still have the necklace?" He asked as he walked over to me along with Shiba. "Nice to meet you once again Moon, and I sure do." I nodded as I pulled it out from underneath my shirt, held it up for view, and then placed it back beneath my shirt again. "Glad that you still have it." He said with a smile before then asking me, "I'm assuming you are going to be watching the race?". "I'm... actually going to be joining in the race as a rider for Shiba. Not sure if Shiba was originally going to do the race solo, but that seems to be a last-minute change..." I answered. I wasn't even sure if Shiba had planned this months before this and she had already put me into the race without me even knowing, but I guess it doesn't matter currently since things were already in motion... so I was just going to roll with everything... "The race isn't going to be happening for about half an hour from now, so feel free to do as you need to ready yourself for the race and I'll lend a claw with Juniper for you Shiba..." Moon said as he looked at the both of us and then at Juniper on his back. "Ight." Shiba nodded; "Works for me... looking forward to it." I said with a nod as well before then having an idea come to mind. "Before you go, Moon... I'll go ahead and have a shadow clone follow you to either have it help you with overlooking the race or keeping an eye on Juniper. Keeping a full focus on both is not exactly something one can do just by themself and both if not kept an eye on properly could cause potential problems... " I said to him before creating one. "That'll do... Solid thinking." He said as he looked at my clone who then went over to him. "Just trying to make sure nothing... unexpected... happens." I responded as he with Juniper and my clone walked off.
