-First Person Narrative-

After a few times of slowly fading into the darkness and slowly coming back to reality within the forest, I was able to forcefully keep my eyes opened long enough to find myself opening my eyes to the sky while laying on my back. Although painful, I was able to pull up my head a little bit to look around and see that I was being carried on the back of someone or something. "Looks like someone is up, don't move and relax... We'll make it back to the cove shortly..." A familiar voice said to who I was assuming was me in seemingly a relieved tone, to which I then realized that it as the voice of Shiba. "You... actually came out and looked Shiba?" I asked as I looked at what I could of her face a second before slowly putting my head back down . "Of course I did... Why did you think I wouldn't have...?" She asked while probably looking down at me. I gave a pause that lasted for a good couple of seconds before saying,  "You have Juniper to take care of now... You should be much more concerned about your taking care of your own hatchling and actual family rather than someone you don't even know..." I said somewhat weakly as my response to what she had said. She seemed to have stayed silent for a couple of seconds, before then saying "Look, your just as important as Juniper to me in my eyes..." with a slightly annoyed, but surprisingly caring sounding tone. "No... Juniper is your family and is the one you need to take care of. All I had ever been for you was a inconvenience since day one and only became worse of a problem now that you have him... Stop lying to yourself and to me that i'm something important when i'm truly not, I've already heard the same thing millions of times over with lies scribbled in the back of their mind..." I murmured as I looked away from what I could see of Shiba and back at the night sky. Right as I had finished that last statement, I felt a pair of eyes, to which I think I could bet that it was Shiba's, glaring at me and could have possibly been my soul for what might as well been an eternity before giving an audible sigh and saying, "We're almost back at the cove, so just hang in there...". I wasn't able to say back to anymore with the lack of energy I had to do so and felt the darkness starting to take over my vision and slowly make all other senses fade. Before we even made it to the edge of the cove, I eventually lost battle of keeping my eyes open any longer and I saw myself being subdued by the darkness as everything around me slowly faded into nothing... After what felt like only a few seconds of having my eyes shut and feeling nothing as I floated within the darkness, I was able to half open one of them to see Shiba very carefully setting me down against the cave wall right next to her nest with peacefully sleeping Juniper inside. "T-thanks Shiba..." I said very weakly as she had finished setting me down. "Your welcome... but what happened out there?" She said quietly but you could still hear the concern in her voice. I sat there quietly for a moment since even I didn't exactly know how I could somehow explain this without causing panic and more concern from her. "I... don't know... it was most likely another blackout..." I somewhat whispered after finding which words to use, to which in my defense, wasn't a total lie. "You should stay inside the cove more so that we can keep an eye on those blackouts of yours... it been worrying me since what happened right after the time Moon and... Sair... came over for Parent's Visit..." She said as she messed with my hair slightly, but not too roughly due to me being in my weakened condition and then made her way into the nest next to Juniper. I still didn't understand the fact why she was treating me as if I was one of her own... It also didn't help that my guilt kept lingering over me since Shiba always had to seemingly constantly worry about me, but I decided to just let it go for now since there wasn't really much I could do about it. "Go ahead and comfortable to get some rest, that should help with those blackouts a little bit..." She said as she lowered her head before softly following up with saying "Good Night...". "Good Night... Shiba..." I murmured as I decided to let close my eyes to try and deal with my problems tomorrow. As I finally let my eyes close and felt myself slowly drifting away from reality, I heard Zalgo's laughter again... except this time, much more clearly and menacing then before. I realized that if this was probably what he had been waiting for so he could weaken me further while I was out cold. I struggled with everything I had left in me in that moment to keep myself from falling into his trap, but found that I already had one foot in the grave as my eyelids became much too heavy to keep open anymore while I felt his chaotic presence taking its chance to surround me...
