[ Runaway Together ] Siren Head x Reader

2. Reality

"What was that?! That dream... Is just a dream, right? It can't be real!" (y/n) gets back on her computer and start opening the recent closed tabs. "Siren Head... It's just a fictional monster..!"

She browse he forum found something interesting that catches her eyes.

'I MET SIREN HEAD IN MY DREAM! WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?!'

(y/n) clicked on the forum and start reading the experience this person went through. So far, it's like reading a Creepypasta.

"What... These are clearly not real... Guess I just had a nightmare from browsing too much. I should take a break from browsing the internet and just..." (y/n) falls on her bed and closes her eyes. "Go to sleep."

"(y/n)!" Oh mom is here.

"Please let me sleep more..."

"No! You get up and take a bath now. You wake up late and start screaming out of nowhere in the morning. What's the matter with you? I told you to stop browsing creepy pictures and videos!" She grabs her feet and start dragging (y/n) off the bed.

"Fine..."

But the nightmare didn't stop coming at her. When (y/n) is trying to take a nap, the same Siren Head came to her dreams again. This time, she's in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by tall trees everywhere. The girl starts to walk forward, hoping to find an exit.

'DIIIIT DIIIT'

It's him again. She covers her ears to block the irritating noise, walking away from the source of sound.

"Get away from me!"

She continues to run, but to no avail. She can hear his heavy footsteps coming close to her, soon his shadow becomes visible to (y/n), but she continues to run for her life.

"This is a dream! This is just a dream!"

(y/n) can see a tall heavy metal gate in front of her. "The exit gate!" She sprint to the door and start unlocking the door to make through.

"Come on come on! Why is this so heavy?!"

(y/n) looks behind her to see the Siren Head coming even closer to her. With a little bit of luck, she exited the gate and closes the door with all the strength she has left, locking the gate again to prevent the monster from exiting this area.

"Hah... Hah... I did it!" She stopped running and stop to catch her breath. "Haah.. Hah... That... was intense."

The monster stopped, his large hands touching metal wires.

"This is the last time I let you go easy."

'The monster is speaking!'

"I will find you, (y/n)."

'I need to get out of here!' (y/n) gets on her feet again and start running.

"And I will make you part of me..."

"Forever."

"GYAAAAA!! GET OUT OF MY HEAD!"

She continue to run and run for her life, reaching for her home that is somehow just outside the forest. But as she is about to reach for her home, the monster grabbed her again.

"LET GO OF ME!"

(y/n) once again wakes up on her bed, in her own bedroom. Now, having two similar or identical dreams are normal. People got that... But to have two episodes in a row? That's really weird.

"Hah... These nightmares are becoming worse and worse. What is happening to me?"

(y/n) get down from her bed and start walking to the bathroom with sloppy footsteps. Her brother and father are downstairs, watching TV together. She continues to walk until she reach the bathroom and wash her face, trying to wash away the thoughts and nightmares. She looked at herself in the mirror...

'I look like I haven't slept in weeks.'

"I'll just watch something cute and fluffy later to clear up my head."

(y/n) turn around and go outside the bathroom, yawning a bit but stopped when e heard that... That familiar noise.

"What the..."

"Siren... Noise?"

Her skin shivers as she makes a slow walk to find the source of noise.

'It's coming from outside... No.. No. This is reality!'

She stopped when she reached the stairs, seeing her father getting up to look outside where the noise.

"Is that the police?"

Her brother gets up. "I don't know."

"Father, don't open the door!" (y/n) stopped him. "It's... Probably just the police car passing by? Or an announcement from the megaphone? Ahh no one is knocking out door so it's nothing!"

"I guess." He does feel weird of his daughter behavior, but this morning she wake up screaming... So it's probably nothing.

He sit down and continue to watch TV again. (y/n) get up to the second floor to peek from her bedroom window. As expected, there's nothing. Strangely the noise stopped after (y/n) open the window... But it's real. Her father even heard it!

"I'm getting creeped out..."
