3. I'm Going Insane.

"I don't want to see you ever again..."

"Stop going inside my head, damnit..."

"Even I need to go to sleep..."

"Stop coming into my dreams..."

It's the third day since the last time (y/n) meets Siren Head in her dreams. Every time she goes to sleep or close her eyes to take a nap, the same monster will appear and chase her down, or just stare at her.

Yes she went to a psychiatrist and was told that she's just having episodes of nightmares. Since (y/n) never experience this before, they thought that it's just a bad dream after looking up for scary content on the internet. But (y/n) never experience this series of nightmares when browsing about other monsters or horror stories while surfing the net.

"Guess I'm just stressed out or something."

Luckily school is starting on Monday and her friends decided to go around the town using (f/n)'s jeep. (y/n) pack up a bottled water, some wet wipes and sunscreen before going off. They use the jeep to go around the town and generally just have some fun. (y/n) is also starting to forgot about the monster in her dreams, too busy laughing and chatting with her friends.

"Let's rest on the green hills and eat snacks there." One of them suggested.

(y/n) isn't a picky person. "Yeah sure. The breeze is nice."

They head for the hills and sit down together, chatting about various things and things that happened during their summer break. (y/n) did told her friends about the strange chain of dreams she had lately, but she gets the same answer.

'It's probably just your dream.'

'Maybe it's because you browse too much horror themed stuff on the internet?'

"Maybe I am getting tired and spooked from browsing too much horror. I should browse something cuter like candies and cupcakes." (y/n) jokingly laugh .

But (f/n) stopped laughing when she thought of something. "But what you said about Siren... I don't think police siren sound like that. More like a tornado siren?"

"Yeah I think police's siren is meant to be startling while tornado siren is really loud and long... Maybe you're not that crazy and someone is just messing with the tornado siren."

'They aren't wrong...'

Behind the hill is a forest no one really goes in to. Many goes in only to be greeted with disappointment. There's no spooky haunted mansion, there's no scary ghosts or anything special, just a really big forest with really big trees and terrible terrain that is not fitting for your camping activities. (y/n) gets up and walk a little bit closer to the forest entrance.

'I only went inside here twice, but I dream he chased me in here.'

"(y/n) what are you doing?" (f/n) asked. "We are about to leave you know."

"I think I'll stay here. How about you guys just go back home first and I'll just walk?"

"Are you sure? You didn't bring your own vehicle you know." They all get up and start packing up everything. "Stop being ridiculous and get your butt here, (y/n)! We are going home together. If you want to hang around in a weird shady forest by yourself, do it later. Right now you need a rest so you can stop having nightmares." They really do care about their friend.

(y/n) got dragged along by her girlfriends, back to the jeep and off to her home. She pouted for awhile, but stopped because she understands that her friends are simply worried about her well-being. 'I guess I'll just explore it all by myself later.'

She packed her flashlight, camera and fully charged cellphone with her. (y/n) also packed some water and snacks in case she gets hungy. She bring very little money and most importantly, a face mask!

'I got everything ready.'

'Let's go.'

Using her own motorcycle, she already fills the gas tank to the fullest. (y/n) made sure that her parents know where she's going by leaving a note on the table, so they can find it and call the police in case she's not home two hours  late from the designated time.

Hello, author here. I wrote this when it was 11 June. I wonder, is the quarantine over in Indonesia? How is the Coronavirus situation? Is there a vaccine out already? I'm a bit scared. I think it's humane to be scared. I love you people, my beautiful readers. Please take care and stay at home, and read my story or other authors story to kill the time.
