It was maybe another two weeks before you saw Jeff again. You felt he had given up on you. You weren't expecting him to tumble into your window, cover your mouth and whisper "shhhh..." Next to your ear one night. He uncovered your mouth and smiled a little (well, comparatively smaller than normal), before pulling you out of your warm, soft, (F/C) blanket cocoon. You grumbled at him, but went with it, seeing as he was your only friend other then Kaylee, the girl from class. Kaylee had turned out to be genuine, but she still didn't know much about you. You were scared she would leave you like everyone else did, and she was a great friend.
Jeff noticed you didn't wear much but a skin tight tank top and boy shorts, blushing (which is uncharacteristic of him) and looking away. You quickly pulled on a pair of sweats and a overly large hoodie with your (F/B) logo on it. He smirked at the band but took your hand, pulling you towards the window.
"Where are we going?!" You hissed, climbing out of the window after him. He just chuckled softly and continued into the woods. You followed along at first, but soon realized your mistake...
Not grabbing a pair of shoes.
Sticks and brambles poked at your small feet, hurting the sensitive skin. You winced and walked a little slower, trying to watch your step in the wavering moonlight. Jeff was getting irritated you were moving along so slowly, his impatience prominent.
A cloud covered the moon for a split second, and you couldn't see anything at all. All of a sudden, something grabbed you and you were swung onto Jeff's back. Your arms went across his broad chest, your legs around his slim hips. You could feel the contours of his muscles even through his hoodie. You were worried you were too heavy for him.
"Jeff, I can walk on my own! You don't need to worry yourself, or strain yourself carrying me!" You hissed in his ear. He shook his head, the silken strands of his hair brushing against your cheek.
"You weigh, what? Maybe 20 lbs. I'm not strained, you're lighter than most things I have to carry, (Y/N)..." He said mysteriously. You scoffed, but didn't really want to pain your feet anymore with the sticks on the ground, so you allowed him to carry you.
Soon a large...mansion? Came in to sight. It was lit up brightly, laughter filtering out of the open doors and windows. It looked...inviting, even though it was buried deep in the woods. Jeff set you down in the porch steps in front of a girl. She cocked her head to the side, letting her hair fall away from an eye that wasn't an eye. A clock took its place on her face.
"(Y/N), this is Clockwork. Clockwork, this is (Y/N)." Jeff said, a slight blush tingeing his cheeks as he wrapped one arm around your waist.
"Oh, so this is the girl you've been freaking out about and killing people for?" She said before walking away. You looked up at Jeff.
"You killed people for me?" You asked. He sheepishly nodded his head. You grin and hug him. He clears his throat and awkwardly hugs you back.
"So, I guess you know my little secret, huh? Well, since you know that, would you like to meet my family?"
