2 weeks later...
Desire POV

For the pass two weeks I've been sleeping at the park. I refuse to go back to the shelter or ask Eboni for help because I don't want to jeopardize Micah seeing his son.  I've distant myself towards them because I don't want them to be suspicious of anything .

I barely eat because I don't have money. I only eat at school and I bathe in the park restroom. I really regret for treating my father like that, he don't even acknowledge me at school.

I was walking to the park from school.

"Desire!" I heard

I looked on the side of me to see Akievah.

I started walking faster .

"Desire baby come here" she called out

I turned around to face her.

"Where have you been? Your father told me you went back to live with your friends" she said with concern in her voice.

"I haven't been at my friends house" I mumble

"Well where having you been sleeping and bathing at?" She asked

"The park" I mumble

"What!?" She yelled

"Look, it's my fault. I shouldn't have been a smart ass and talking to my dad like that" I said quickly

"Still! That doesn't mean shit! Get your ass in this car!" She yelled

I grabbed my bags and put in inside the car and got into the passenger side. She sped off in the direction to her house.

We arrived there two minutes later, I noticed my dad's car. I begin to feel nervous.

I grabbed my bags and followed Akievah inside the house.

We both heard multiple voices. When we walked into the living area it was him and his homeboys watching a basketball game.

Akievah grabbed my arm and stood in front of the TV .

"What the hell Akievah!" He yelled

"What the hell back to you!" She screamed

"Why she's here?" He said mugging me

"Stop acting like a little bitch! Did you know your daughter have been sleeping in the park?" She said

"Who Ahkela?" He said bluntly

That really hurt me, I know I said I barely knew him but what he just said was harsh.

"I think I should leave" I said grabbing my bags to leave

"Yeah do that" he said

"You a bitch ass nigga!" Akievah yelled

"Akievah it doesn't matter anymore." I said

"Yes the fuck it does because what if it was Ahkela in this position?" She said

"I disowned her, since her ass wanna be disrespectful. I'm not one of your friends who you can talk to any kind of way!" He yelled while standing up

"Okay, I'm sorry" I said

"Yeah you should be-- you know what I don't even give a fuck . Should've left your ass where I found you" he mumbled on the last part

"Damn, just like that?" I said in the verge of tears .

"Yupp, you know what will be a good idea? If you go back to Jamaica with your family" he smiled while throwing some tickets at me
