Ship: Jj x Simon

Summary: Jj isn't sure where the crush came from but he sure as hell isn't going to tell Simon. I mean they live together! It would make everything awkward!

Setting: Jj and Simon's apartment.

Warnings: Coronavirus? It's not a main story plot but this is set during quarantine. Panic attack.

It's not as if Jj meant to get a crush on his roommate.

It just sort of happened.

When you live and work together feelings are bound to get in the mix.

Then again, Jj has also lived with Vik and Josh and he had never even thought about them as anything more then friends.

He was pretty sure he was straight up until he got this crush, so maybe it was just a Simon thing.

You know, they're best friends. He was going to think of him as more eventually no matter what, right?

Or perhaps, Jj thinks one night while Simons asleep on his shoulder after staying up late watching some movie he doesn't remember the name of, it's because Simon is just about the best person he's ever met.

Maybe he still would have gotten this crush if they had met at Starbucks, no Sidemen and no living together. Just two guys who went to the same school and happened to be in the same place at the same time.

Just a coincidence.

If that had happened, and Jj still ended up with this inappropriate crush that no amount of sex and no amount of alcohol can get rid of, he thinks he might be more okay with it.

Because then he would have proof that it was meant to be.

But it wasn't, this crush is no more then Simon being the only person Jj has really seen in the last two months.

Jj would never admit, not even to himself, that he'd had the crush a lot longer then that.

After everything does back to normal the crush will be gone and he will be able to sleep without wishing Simon was with him rather then his own room.

Lockdown was still going strong.

Almost at the end of month three now.

Luckily the crush was gone now, though even if they still hadn't really seen anyone else.

He's now in love with Simon so maybe this is worse.

When it was a crush it wasn't a big deal  but now it was feelings and emotions and a whole bunch of shit that Jj isn't sure he's ready for.

And he had to deal with it soon, or preferably right now because the others were starting to notice something was up when they were filming videos through video chats and he was free to stare at Simon with no one really knowing where he's looking which meant he often missed what the others had said.

Fans had noticed too and he knows that in the comments they were asking if he was okay, he was quick to brush it off and blame it on quarantine getting to him.

He also knows that Simon is worried too, the way he looks at Jj when he thinks he won't notice is enough to make Jj wonder how obvious he's being.
