The following evening, I met with Ricky, I laid my beach towel on the sand and ran into the water.
"Are you okay?"
"Not really,"
"What's wrong?" Ricky asked, holding my hand.
"My mother told me that her lady in waiting is also her courtesan because my father doesn't, please her in bed. I'm surprised my father isn't trying to get my mother to give him an heir since I'm no longer a royal." I said.
"Your family is full of drama."
"Tell me about it."
Ricky and I splashed each other with water we were acting like children.
"How was the meeting?" I asked nervously.
"The king and queen request a second meeting with us tomorrow morning." Ricky stated.
"What should I wear?"
"Wear something nice and that's easy to move in."
"I better head back so I can get some sleep." I said.
"I'll see you at dawn." He smiled.
I walked out of the water I grabbed my beach towel I dried off and returned to the castle.
