Chapter 15

When I woke up, I was lying in bed with Ricky snuggled up behind me his arm was draped across me. 

"Morning babe." 

"Morning beautiful." 

"Did you carry me upstairs last night?" I asked. 

"Yes, I didn't want to wake you up so I carried you upstairs to bed last night." Ricky mumbled. 

I rolled over onto my side facing Ricky, he rolled over onto his back I snuggled up beside him Ricky wrapped his arm around me I laid my head on his chest. 

"How about after breakfast I give you a tour and show you around?" 

"I would love that." 

Ricky and I climbed out of bed and got dressed we walked into the bathroom when Ricky and I came out of the bathroom I made the bed. We left the bedroom and walked downstairs to breakfast Ricky and I joined our new family for breakfast. After breakfast Ricky and I left the castle, we climbed inside my car I put the key into the ignition and started the engine I drove away from the castle. 

"It's a beautiful kingdom!" Ricky exclaimed. 

"My father loves to show off." I replied. 

I gave Ricky a tour of the kingdom we stopped at a cafe for a cup of coffee. 

"I can see why you love it here." 

"It's my favorite place to come and shop because no one cares that I'm not a royal they still love me just the same." 

When I was finished showing Ricky around, we climbed back inside my car and drove back to the castle. When we arrived back at the castle, I parked the car behind the castle and killed the engine Ricky and I removed our seat belts we climbed out of the car and walked inside the castle. 

"Thanks for giving me a tour." Ricky smiled. 

"You're more than welcome." I replied. 

I kissed Ricky and headed for the kitchen I entered the kitchen Jimmy, James, Amanda, and Samantha greeted me warmly Roman came into the kitchen. 

"Mistress Madeline, your mother is here to see you she's in the living room." 

"Thank you, Roman."

I exited the kitchen and walked up the hall to the living room I entered the living room my mother was sitting on the couch she looked as if she'd been crying. 

"Mom, what's the matter?" I asked, worried. 

"I lost the baby." my mother cried. 

"I'm so sorry this is all of my fault if I agreed to marry that asshole prince none of this would have happened!!" 

"Madeline, none of this is your fault stop blaming yourself." 

I sat down in the arm chair my mother wiped away her tears with a tissue. 

"There's something else that you should know." my mother sobbed. 

"What else do you have to tell me?" I asked curiously, raising an eyebrow. 

"Your father wants you to be a royal again." 

"No thank you,"

"Do it for the good of the kingdom." my father stated, entering the living room. 

"I don't want to be a royal I want to live a normal life with the love of my life!!" I shouted furiously. 

I couldn't believe my father would think that I would change my mind about becoming a royal again. 

"Always thinking of yourself!!" 

"Get the hell out of my house!!" 

"I'm afraid not girl this is still my house you and your little boyfriend are moving to my family's estate." He smiled wickedly. 

"Don't call me when you're on your death bed because I won't be there." I sneered, rising from the arm chair. 

I left the living room I walked upstairs and entered my room Ricky was packing our clothes I left the room and ran down to the library and packed up my books. When I was finished packing up my books Roman, Maria, Scarlet, and I carried the boxes of books out to my car we placed the boxes inside the trunk. Ricky came out with suit cases and boxes Ricky and I loaded up my car. Samantha, Amanda, James, and Jimmy came outside with somber looks on their faces. 

"Is it true you're leaving?" Samantha asked on the verge of tears. 

"Yeah, my father is sending me to live at the family estate." I said. 

"How will you and Ricky eat?" 

"I will cook for us because you taught me how to cook and bake." 

I hugged Jimmy, James, Amanda, Samantha, Maria, Scarlet, and Roman good-bye. 

"Ricky take good care of Maddie." Roman smiled. 

"I will take good care of Maddie and I can't thank you all enough for being so welcoming towards me." Ricky stated. 

Ricky and I climbed inside my car I started the engine and drove away.

"I'm sorry that you won't be able to see your parents." 

"It's not your fault." 

When we arrived at my family's estate I climbed out of the car and unlocked the wrought iron gate I opened the gate I climbed back inside the car. I drove through the gate and parked the car I killed the engine Ricky and I removed our seat belts and climbed out of the car. I closed the wrought iron gate and locked it Ricky handed me the keys I walked up the front steps and unlocked the front door. Ricky and I unloaded the car I carried the suitcases and boxes upstairs to our room I started unpacking our clothes and shoes placing them in our walk-in closet. When I was finished setting up our bedroom, I left the room I made my way to the library I entered the room. I spotted Ricky unpacking the boxes of books I walked over to him and helped Ricky unpack the books. We placed the books on the book shelf's when we were finished unpacking Ricky and I walked downstairs to the living room we sat down on the couch. 

"Welcome to your new home." I smiled. 

"It feels like a home." Ricky said, reaching over and holding my hand. 

"My mother used to bring Jamie and me here a lot as children." 

"Your father never spent time here?" 

I shook my head no Ricky wrapped his arm around me we relaxed on the couch and snuggled with each other he kissed my cheek. Later on, that day I gave Ricky a tour. 

"Maddie, what's the house behind the estate?" He asked. 

"It's a guest house when my father or mother's side of the family would visit, they would stay here." I said. 

I unlocked the door and stepped inside the guest house Ricky followed me inside I showed him the living room, dining room, kitchen, and basement. I led Ricky upstairs and showed him the bedrooms with attached bathrooms and the bathroom down the hall. 

"The house is beautiful." 

"My father had it built for my mother as a wedding present." 

We left the guest house I closed the door behind us and locked it we walked back inside the estate. Later on, that night Ricky and I were snuggling in bed together he wrapped his arm around me I laid my head on his bare chest and drifted off to sleep.
