A few weeks later Ricky and I were at my family's castle to see Jamie and Katherine crowned king and queen of Ecacoris. I couldn't help but feel proud for my brother and sister-in-law, Ricky held my hand and interlaced our fingers.
"I love you." Ricky said softly in my ear.
"I love you, too." I mouthed.
After Jamie and Katherine were crowned king and queen Ricky and I joined my mother, Jamie, and Katherine in the dining room for a private celebration I walked over to Jamie and Katherine and hugged them. Ricky and I sat down at the table with my family we enjoyed the huge feast.
"Mom, Ricky and I are engaged."
"Congrats I'll send the wedding planner to the estate!" my mother beamed.
"I don't need the royal wedding planner those weddings in the book are not my style and the wedding gowns aren't my style either." I stated.
"Mom, let Maddie and Ricky plan their wedding their way."
After dinner Jamie, Katherine, Ricky and I were sitting at the table playing Go Fish.
"Maddie, you and Ricky are going to be an aunt and uncle." Katherine smiled.
"I'm so happy for you and Jamie, I can't wait to meet my niece or nephew!" I exclaimed.
It was starting to get late Ricky and I said good-bye to my mother, Jamie, and Katherine we left the castle and climbed inside my car. I put the key into the ignition and started the engine I drove through the wrought iron gate.
"Your mom didn't look pleased with you at dinner."
"I don't really care I'm running my life my way my mother is only trying to get in my good graces so I'll become a royal again which isn't going to happen."
"You're such a rebel." Ricky chuckled, holding my hand.
When we arrived home, I drove through the open wrought iron gate of the estate I put the car into park and killed the engine. Ricky and I removed our seat belts and climbed out of the car we walked up the front steps I unlocked the front door and opened it. I walked inside the estate with Ricky following behind me he closed the door behind us and locked it.
"I'm going up to bed."
"I'm going with you."
Ricky and I walked upstairs to bed.
