When Alex and Lexi got to Lacey's house it was already 9:00 pm. Lucky for Alex his curfew lasts until 11:30 pm. They knew that they had to get inside of her house somehow. Until they thought of one way to get inside of her house but it was a long shot.

They knocked on the door hoping for the best.
Mrs. Chambers opened the door not expecting anyone at 8:00 at night.

"Hello?" Mrs Chambers said

"Hi um I'm... Gregory and this is my good friend Stacy and we are friends of Lacey's. Is she home?" Alex said hoping she didn't already know who they were.

"Oh Lacey has never mentioned anything about a Gregory and/or a Stacy before." Mrs. Chambers said feeling skeptical

"That's because we're new. We transferred this year." Lexi chimed in to blow away any suspicions Mrs. Chambers had at the time.

"Well in that case welcome! But sorry no Lacey isn't home right now. But if you would like you guys can come in for a snack. I would love to get to know you guys more.

"That would be perfect Mrs. Chambers." Lexi said while she walked into the home while Alex followed behind her.

They all sat down while Mrs. Chambers grabbed a batch of freshly made cookies and placed them neatly on the table.

"So how did all you guys meet?"

"Well-" Alex was going to answer her question before Lexi chimed in

"Well A-Gregory and I are siblings so we transferred together. We have different fathers though." Lexi added because she and Alex both have different skin tones. Alex is a pale looking guy while Lexi is a more tinted looking girl. "And on our first day Lacey just welcomed us with open arms. And we became sort of inseparable ever since. But we've been sort of distant since the whole incident with Sarah happened."

Alex couldn't help but feel a little awkward since Lexi had referred to them as siblings. Especially since he saw her more than just a friend.

"Oh and um do you know where the bathroom is?" Lexi asked taking this as a chance to try and get the box.

"Um yes first door to the left." Mrs. Chambers answered.

And Lexi took that as her one chance to get the box so she scurried off to the bathroom while Alex and Mrs. Chambers kept on talking.

Lexi made a turn to Lacey's room and basically walked in and started going through her drawers trying not to make any noise. Something caught her eye while she was looking through the drawers. She looked up and saw Lacey's collage of pictures on her wall. But one picture in particular caught her eye. It was a picture of Lacey, Brittany, Sarah and.....

So I noticed that this is a famous thing that most writers do at the end of the chapter and I thought I would as well so you guys could get to know me a little better. So first off I want to thank you guys for 100+ reads. It means the world to me so thank you! And also sorry for not uploading for 4 whole days! I've been busy. And I'm also going to apologize for making this so short I just guess I wanted to leave you guys on a little cliffhanger and that's the perfect spot to leave you guys on one soo.....yeah. Oh and sorry for leaving you on a cliffhanger but the next chapter is coming up either today or tomorrow and it's going to be longer. Bye guys! :)
