Apologizing

The next day Lexi was still trying to figure out a way to get that box but she knew she needed the others help and she still didn't know whether or not she should apologize.

Since it was Saturday Alex, Katie, and Aiden all wanted a day off from investigating and mystery solving. But Zach wasn't going to rest until the case was solved and that's why he rode his bike to Katie's house (since her house is the closest) and used her house phone to dial Alex and Aiden. So they all met up at Alex's house.

"No absolutely not Zach!" Alex said

"Why not?" Zach asked

"Because I want this to be my day to relax, to get away from everything that's happening right now." Alex said as the others nodded their head in agreement

"Yeah dude I think we should lay low on the whole mystery solving thing. I mean Mr. Raze is already planning to "get rid of us." And I don't know about you but I like my life and I wanna keep it." Aiden said

"Guys we can relax when this mystery is over. But now is our time to put the guilty in jail. I mean think about it if Mr. Raze is in jail then he won't be able to get rid of us." Zach said

"And how do you know that Zack. He may have connections and I don't know about you but I'm not willing to stay and find out." Katie said

"Calm down Katie, Mr. Raze isn't the type of guy to have connections. And weren't you guys listening Lexi probably just heard him wrong or probably saw the wrong person." Alex said

"Wow Lexi was right. Your head is in the clouds." Katie said

"What?" Alex said

"You can't see right from wrong Alex! God I don't know what your sick obsession with Mr. Raze is but it needs to stop now! If we can all see the type of person Mr. Raze is then so can you!" Katie yelled

Alex really was feeling as if he was in the wrong here which was surprising because he always seems to be right. But that wasn't what was important right now. The problem was that the gang was falling apart which was exactly what Mr. Raze and Lacey meant by "get rid of them".

Katie stormed off in frustration. And that's when both Aiden and Alex left. While Zack stood there not know what just happened.

Meanwhile
Lexi decided that it was time to apologize to Alex. So she went to his house not even knowing if he was home or not. She knocked on the door and Mrs. Faze opened the door.

"Can I help you?" She asked

"Ummm yes I'm actually a friend of Alex and I would like to speak to him if I can?" Lexi said

"One second."

"Alex there's a girl here waiting for you!" She yelled

" Lexi?" Alex mumbled as he got out of bed and ran down the stairs.

When he got down stairs they both made quick eye contact until they both quickly looked away.

"I'll leave you two to talk." Alex's mom said breaking the tension.

"Hi....." Lexi said

"Hey......." Alex said

"I'm sorry!" They both said at the same time until they both chuckled

"Ok you go first."

"I'm sorry that I couldn't respect your opinion on Mr. Raze we are all entitled to our own opinions and I was to childish to respect yours so for that I am sorry." Lexi said

"It's fine I should be sorry because I couldn't see right from wrong everyone was telling me the reality of the situation but I decided to look at the fantasy version of it.

"It's ok. Why did you care so much anyway?" Lexi asked

"I don't know I think that it's just because Mr. Raze was always so kind to me. That I couldn't realize that maybe it was a mask all along."

" ok. Well in the meantime I need your help there is this black box at Lacey's place but it has a lock and I don't know where the key is and so we need to find it and get that box because I swear I saw her put a knife in it."

"Oh ok then let's go."

As the two headed off to Lacey's house.
