Isabelle's pov

A few months have passed already and I'm so close to my due date. Thankfully I'm done putting the house in order. Now it's a home, my home, our home, peanut and I. I should really start looking for baby girl names, I don't want my baby getting bullied in school because her name is 'peanut'!

I take sometime to reflect on the past few months and honestly it's been one hell of a roller-coaster ride.

The culture here is so different to what I'm used to. I've made a few work friends, and my social life is gradually coming together.

My house is close to a park, like a 2-minute walk, I go there just to relax and take a break, I can't wait to bring peanut here.

There we go with that 'peanut' name again.

I don't know if I'm the world's most indecisive soon to-be mum, I can't even pick one good name for my daughter.

Sometime ago, I finally got to speak with and explain everything to Melissa. she got a bit emotional , I don't blame her though as I got emotional too.

She promised not to rat me out to Ray. She supports my decision, and I promised to send pictures.

I talk to Nadia and Jess every single day. Those two are my most priced jewel, well along with peanut. Bo got a boyfriend he's so sweet, you can basically see how much he adores her, his name is Baxter.

I go for my bi-weekly check ups and the baby is growing really well. I also started doing some exercises Dr kwesi suggested. I've read a lot of books about being a first time mum, and I think I'm about 80% ready, I'll leave the other 20% to motherly instincts. Wow, I'm going to be a person's mother, that's such a big deal.

The girls have been trying to talk me into a baby shower,I'm really not into it. I don't know if I want to do the whole baby shower thing, but there's nothing I can do now as they'll be here next week for my baby shower.

You see life is all about compromise, they don't call my baby girl peanut and I go through with their shower idea.

Work is exciting, my clients so far are the best. So cooperative, and open to new ideas, making the projects run smoother and faster, and I'm so proud of my work so far... Plus my colleagues are the best.

One last thing I need to do is pack my hospital bag, just incase, I want to be prepared. I'll pack two, one will be placed by the extrance of the house close to the door and the other in my car.

I got a car too, It's not a benz, but it takes me to and from the house or office or business meetings, anywhere I want to be.

I've gotten much bigger and slower. The nausea, constipation, back ache, swollen feet and mood swings, those are part of the reason I can't wait to meet my baby, so I know it was all worth it.

**Next Week**

There's continuous rapping on my door, and the only person who does that lives in America. Unless....

I walk towards the frontdoor and peek through the peephole and when I see them we squeal loudly and share a long group hug and scream again and again!

My girls are here!

"Wow your home is lovely belle!" Jess says excitedly.

"Thanks Jess! I've missed you guys so damn much! Omg I can't believe you two are here!" I squeal.

"Yeah yeah... How's my pea... I mean princess." Jess says again.

We laugh at her near slip up which could've cost them the right to throw me a baby shower.

I honestly have no care in the world right now, my girls are here!

The questions start coming in... Reprimanding from Ms Nadia of course about me still going to work when I should've taken a maternity leave and me trying to explain how the doctor suggested exercise and going to work is a form of exercise.

"No it's not, for the hundredth time! It's tedious and not good for the baby. Stop being a workaholic for once." Nadia yells.

"Can you two just stop already?... I'm famished, like beastly hungry. I can eat a house." Jess says.

Knowing Jess!, she's not joking. She'll literally finish a whole cow, and it's maddening how it does nothing to her slim figure.

My girls are really here!
