Isabelle's pov

He apologises to them and makes promises to not break my heart ever again or hurt me in anyway. My mum hugs him and tells him she forgives him. Well, my dad will need a little more time to accept him, but at least he's not trying to castrate him or anything, so in all I'm glad. It's Friday night and we return to our house Sunday evening. So we have less than two days to spend with them. There will be future visits of course, but I came to America for work. I've been thinking of relocating, but I've not mentioned it to anyone. Ray and I are moving on so fast it's a bit scary, but we love each other that's what matters, right?

We go to our room and sleep off, it's been a long night. I've gotten so used to Ray that I can't sleep at night if he's not there. I've gotten so used to his scent, I don't need to turn to know he's in the room. And I love every bit of this journey with him.

We had so much fun at my parents, especially Adeya, she loves the attention. She tries to talk me into getting her a dog after seeing my parents neighbours golden retriever. But that's not happening until she's at least five.

Sadly the weekend is over. I hug my mama and papa. We make promises to return soon. We get on the plane and soon we get home.
I love Ray's house, but its so big, its not exactly homely. I feel like I haven't even explored half of the entire thing.
He told me when he bought the house, he thought it would fill the void in his heart, but it didn't. He had no reason to change it, but he doesn't mind changing it if I don't like it. But I told him it's fine.

Within the week I make out time to hang out with Oscar and the girls. Oscar and Jess have been fighting and arguing over every little thing, I'm beginning to get suspicious of these two.
When it's just Jess, Nad and I, I ask her.
I:"what's going on between you and Oscar? Give me details"
J:"who said anything was going on between us? There's nothing okay? He's just so annoying!"
Nad:"okay something is definitely going on and you better start talking before he gets back from that call he's answering. I'll love to ask him, won't you isa?"
I:"I think that will be best..."
J:"don't! I'll tell you girls, jesus!"
Nad and I start laughing. She rolls her eyes
J:"okay, before the whole thing between isa and Ray got ugly, I was seeing Oscar. When you two ended, I couldn't stay with him, as his friend hurt my sister! I broke up with him"
I:"Omg jess! Why would you do that? Oh sweetie you shouldn't have let my problems with Ray take away your happiness."
Nad:"yes jess. I think you two should get back together. No wonder he is always staring at you, even now he's staring. He's a lovestruck puppy."
We start laughing and immediately change the topic when Oscar starts walking over.
Oscar:"hey girls, what are we talking about?"
I:"I was just telling jess here that, Nad and I have an errand to run. Will you be so kind to take her home? As Nadia was her ride here"
Oscar:"sure if that's fine by her"
We all look at jess and she's blushing furiously and she nods.
Nad and I bid them goodbye and almost start dancing on our way out. I can't believe my issues with Ray almost cost my friend turned sister her happiness forever. Wow.
