Chapter 15 - The light

TANA

Finally we left their place and now we were en route to ours. This evening was completely unexpected and totally bizarre but i must somehow admit that i had a good time though however odd that sounds it was rather fun.

"So you know this guy huh?" Questioned mom interrupting my trail of thoughts.

"Yep, first guy i ran into at school" i replied promptly.

"Good to know you are already gelling into the new place." Said mom with a smile on her face.

As the conversation went on we had almost reached our place. After an eventful day all i could think of was my bed.

"Tana how many times did i tell you to turn off the lights when we are not home."

"But mom i did turn them off, i swear" i said and quite truely too i do remember turning them off before leaving.

"Then did your grandpa's ghost turn that on." Said mom pointing to the light glowing from which i guess was my bedroom.

"I don't know mom, but i did turn it off" i tried arguining but soon found it to be fruitless so decided to apologize and get on with it.

Just as we entered the house i rushed to my room.

"Mom" i yelled at the top my voice.

The lady quickly rushed to my room looking frightened at thought of what might have happened to her daughter.

"What?" She asked still out of breath.

"Someone else was here. I remember closing the windows and also the hairdresser was on bed not on the dressing table." I replied dumbfounded by the happenings.

"You know what sweety you are tired and delirious. No one has been here and we are not even in a city for thefts to take place. Its a perfectly safe locality. Its a big house you will take time to adjust. Now change and go to bed you have school tomorrow."

"Maybe you are right." I replied. "I'll just change and sleep, I'm really drowsy."

"Good. Off you go then. Good night."

Finally getting into bed i started to recall the incidents i know it was not me there was someone else who had ventured in here. But who? I was certainly determined to find out.
