Chapter 3: Hogwarts Express

Harry: POV

I was walking with Hagrid to King's Cross Station before he needed to leave and I walk up to a man who seems to work here "Excuse me..excuse me sir where's platform 9¾"I ask and he laughs "9¾ do you think you're funny do you?" with that he walks away "come on platform 9¾ this way" a plump ginger woman says to the children following "Packed with Muggles of course"A cute girl with h/c hair my age says and she laughs and all of a sudden the tallest one runs through a wall and I look for a moment and then I shake my head and walk up to the family while the two that looked like twins runs through the wall.

"Excuse me can you tell me how to..." I trail off looking at the h/c haired girl. "How to get to the platform? of course dear it's Ron and Y/n's first time to Hogwarts as well" She says I look at the boy next to the girl and smile and they return it 'gosh she's cute when she-HARRY YOU ARE ELEVEN can't think like that "All you have to do is walk through the wall between nine and ten best do a little run if you're nervous"The woman says with a genuine smile on her face.

I nod and run through the wall to see a scarlet train and a lot of families saying goodbye to each other I felt a little sad knowing I don't have parents.

Y/N: POV

When Ron and I ran through we found our brothers but the twins wanted to sit with their friends and Percy wanted to sit with the Prefects because it's his first year being a Prefect. So Ron and I walk through the corridor of the Hogwarts Express until Ron who walks in front of me stops and opens a compartment door "Can we sit here everywhere else is full?"Ron asks the boy from the station I think he's cute but I'm not that blunt. "Of course!"He says smiling and gesturing for the seats in front of him so Ron and I sit down. "I'm Ron, by the way, Ron Weasley," Ron says proudly the raven-haired boy smiles and looks at me...

"oh um-Y/n Weasley, "I say embarrassed because I realise I was staring he smiles again after I said my name which makes me blush "I'm Harry, Harry Potter, "He says Ron and I are in awe "Do-do you r-really have th-the"Ron trails of talking to THE Harry Potter "The what?"Harry asks in a soft voice. Ron leans closer and so does Harry "Scar?"Ron asks "Oh yeah!" Harry says while lifting his bangs 'he has a twin scar to mine but on the left?' I think while fixing my bangs so my scar isn't visible even if it has faded over the years "Wicked" Ron states.

We talk about anything and everything except our money problem that I can solve but mum said they didn't wanna take my money. "Something of the trollery dears" I was about to pull out a couple of Galleons "No thanks we two are all set," Ron says holding up two tuna sandwiches and smiling like he wanted something of the trollery because don't tell mum but either Ron or I like tuna "We'll take the lot, "Harry says pulling out a couple of Galleons "Whoa," Ron says.

After we get all the candy the Lady leaves "Thank you Harry...we-My brother appreciates it"I say with a laugh as  "Oh no need to thank me, "Harry says smiling. "Bertie Boot's every flavoured bean, "Harry reads out loud Ron looks at him as I say "They really mean that-" I am cut off by Ron who continues until Harry takes out the bean in his mouth and he picks up a chocolate frog "It's not a real frog is it?" he asks me I smile "No silly It's a spell, you should close the window if you want it but normally I get the frog and Ron the cards, "I say with a smile the whole time.

Harry smiles and stands up and closes the window and sits down next to me instead of Ron and he opens it. The frog jumps and lands on Ron's head me and Harry laugh, Harry, took the frog off Ron's head "Sorry Ron" Harry says I laugh more while Ron nods. "Here," Harry says to me holding out the chocolate frog.

I smile as thanks and take it. "Hey! I got Dumbledore" Harry says while beaming at me and Ron, Ron brags "I have six of him, "Ron says Harry nods and looks at Scabbers. "That's Scabbers Ron's rat" I simply state, "Fred taught me a spell that makes him yellow, wanna see?"Ron asks "Yeah!"Harry answers excited which I think is adorable. Ron clears his throat Sun-" he is cut off by a brushy haired girl. "Has anyone seen a toad a boy name Neville lost one? "She asks.

We shake our heads "No!" Ron says rudely cause he was interrupted. She looks at him and sees the wand "Oh are you doing magic? Okay, let's see then."She says her chin up with folded arms. Ron reclear his throat "Sunshine-daisies-butter-mellow-turn-this-stupid-fat-rat-yellow" He cast and the only thing that happens is the box on Scabbers head flies off.

I bite my lip as not to laugh at my brother.

"Are you sure that's a real spell...? Well it's not a very good one is it, of course, I've only tried a few simple ones myself but they've all worked for me" She says and takes the seat next to Ron and takes her wand and points it at Harry. "For example Oculus Reparo" She casts and then all of a sudden Harry's glasses are fixed he takes them off and looks at them in awe "That's better isn't it holy cricket you're Harry Potter and Y/n Weasley" She looks between the two of us 'how does she know who I am' "I'm Hermoine Granger and you are?" she asks Ron "Rmnon Weaschley," He says with a mouth full of candy "pleasure, "Hermione says with a disgusted face.

Hermonie stands up "You two should change into your robes I expect we will arive soon" "What about Y-"Ron stops when he sees I am in my robes already. Hermonie starts to walk away only to stop and turn to Ron "You have dirt on your nose, by the way, did you know? Right there" She says and points to the place on her own nose and walks away. Me and Harry look at each other than at Ron and we burst out laughing...
