Chapter 12 Malfoy

Third: POV

Inside McGonagall's classroom, the four are now standing in front of McGonagall's desk, while Malfoy is feet away smirking. "Nothing, I repeat, nothing gives a student the right to walk about the school at night. Therefore, as punishment for your actions, 50 points will be taken"Mcgonagall begins. "50?!"Harry asks and I nudge him. "Each," She says Harry gasps "And to ensure it doesn't happen again, all five of you will receive detention," She says and I smile and giggle Malfoy nods then his smile vanishes with great concern.

"Excuse me, Professor. Perhaps I heard you wrong. I thought you said..." the five of us," He says. "No, you heard her correctly Malfoy, "I say with a smile and he looks down like he's scared that he'll make me hate him more if he looks at me. "You see, as honourable as your intentions were, you too were out of bed after hours you will serve detention with your classmates, "McGonagall says. Harry, Ron, Hermione, and I grin, as Draco sags, knowing that the tables have turned. 

Y/N: POV

We are back in the common room Hermione went to bed so, Ron, Harry, I are sitting by the fireplace. "Oh, my Godric I don't want to have detention!"Ron says annoyed at the fact that he wanna play chess because it's the weekend. "Come on Ronald chill it's not the end of the fucking world," I say and I hear gasps and footsteps down the stairs.

"RONALD what did you do to our angel!?"Fred and George asks when they are in front of Ron. "What she's no angel she's a demon with horns and all!"Ron says in his defence everyone else shake their heads as to say I'm not. "What did you do"Fred asks Ron who is looking at me. "I-I got her in trouble," Ron says and looks down "And what was the one thing mum told us we wouldn't do?"George asks "Get her in trouble," Ron says still looking down.

"Okay brothers chill I got myself in trouble, "I say to defend Ronald. They look at me for a while and look at Ron again. "We are keeping our eyes on you, "Fred says and they run up to their dorm room. I stand up and go up to bed after saying goodnight.

The next night, Harry, Ron, Hermione, Malfoy and I are being led to Hagrid's hut by Mr Filch who is trying to make us scared it worked for Malfoy, and Ron "A pity they let the old punishments die. There was a time detention would find you hanging by your thumbs in the dungeons. God, I miss the screaming" Mr Filch says and Malfoy gulps. "You'll be serving detention with Hagrid tonight. He's got a little job to do inside the dark forest"Filch says I smile "YESSS!"I cheer and everyone looks at me weird.

Hagrid appears with a crossbow and he sniffles. "A sorry lot this Hagrid. Oh, good God, man, you're not still on about that bloody dragon, are you?"Filch asks I gasp Hagrid sniffs and sighs. "Norbert's gone. Dumbledore sent him off to Romania to live in a colony"Hagrid says sadly. "Well, that's good, isn't it? He'll be with his own kind" Hermione says. "Yeah but what if he doesn't like Romania what if the other dragons are mean to him He's only a baby after all"Hagrid says again sadly.

"Oh, for God's sake, pull yourself together, man. You're going into the forest after all got to have your wits about you" Mr Filch says I give him a death glare "It's okay Hagrid I have met the dragons there many times they are the nicest Dragons Norbert will ever meet"I say trying to cheer him up. "The forest? I thought that was a joke! We can't go in there. Students aren't allowed. And there are..."Malfoy begins and a howl can be heard in the distance.

"...Werewolves!"Malfoy says I roll my eyes. "There's more than werewolves in those trees, lad. You can be sure of that Nighty-night" Mr Filch says and walks away. And we walk into the forest.

Harry: POV

I'm walking with Y/n and Malfoy. Y/n is holding my hand after we saw a spider probably the size of a plate. Hagrid stops and bends down and dips his fingers in something silver he stands up Y/n gasps "H-Hagrid that isn't what I think is it?"She asks. I look at her and then Hagrid. "Hagrid what is that?"I ask "What we're here for see that? that's unicorn's blood, that is. I found one dead a few weeks ago. Now, this one's been injured badly by something"He says and Y/n squeezes my hand I feel bad because I know how much she loves animals and magical creatures.

I suddenly see a large cloaked figure walking through the trees I think Y/n sees it too I look back at Hagrid. "So, it's our job to find the poor beast. Ron, Hermione, you'll come with me" Hagrid says pointing at them. "Okay," Ron says fast "Y/n, Harry you go with Malfoy, "Hagrid says. Malfoy looks disturbed "Okay! then I get Fang!"Malfoy says Y/n giggles. "Okay just know he's a bloody coward, "Hagrid says and Fang whines.

Y/N: POV

Harry, Malfoy, and I start walking through a part of the forest. "Just wait till my father hears about this, this is servant stuff!"Malfoy complains I roll my eyes. "Draco stop being a little bitch," I say and he looks at me like he wants to say something but he looks down. "If I didn't know better Draco I'd say you were scared," Harry says I nod.

"Scared?! Potter? Gryffindor? why are you holding hands if you aren't scared?"Malfoy says and I realise I've been holding Harry's hand since that huge spider I let go but Harry didn't this made my face warm up. "W-well why did you want Fang if you weren't scared?"I ask Malfoy. He tries to come up with something to say but there is a howl.

"Did you hear that?! Let's go Fang" Malfoy says as he walks in front of me and Harry with Fang. We came to a clearing Fang stops and growls. "What is it, Fang?"Harry asks Fang. Up ahead is a cloaked figure who is crouching over the unicorn, drinking its blood from its wound. The figure must have heard because it raises its head silver blood dripping from its mouth. Harry gasps and grabs his scar as mine tingles, which is probably hurting on Harry. Draco screams with pure fear and runs away with Fang.

"HELP!!!!!"He screams

Harry put his arm in front of me pushing me a little. The figure is now flying over towards us it gets close really close we back away and I stumble and fall Harry gets pulled down too he is still protecting me. I heard hoofbeats and a Centaur leaps over us and chases the cloaked figure away. "Harry Potter, Y/n Gryffindor Windsor, you must leave. You are known to many creatures here. The forest is not safe at this time. Especially for you two"The Centaur says as Harry helps me up.

"But what was that thing you saved us from?"Harry asks the Centaur. "A monstrous creature It is a terrible crime to slay a unicorn. Drinking the blood of a unicorn will keep you alive even if you are an inch from death. But at a terrible price. You have slain something so pure that the moment the blood touches your lips, you will have a half-life. A cursed life"The Centaur says to us. "But who would choose such a life?"Harry says I gasp as I realise who it was "Can't you think of one"the Centaur asks us "Can it?"I ask He nods. "You mean the thing that killed the Unicorn was that Voldemort?"Harry asks I nod when he looks at me. "Do you know what is hidden in the school at this very moment?"The Centaur asks and looks at us. I realise I think Harry did too.

"The Philosopher's Stone"We answer in unison. I hear a bark and Hermione yelling our names. I turn to see Hermione, Ron, Hagrid, Fang and Draco. "Hello there, Firenze. I see you've met our young Mr Potter and Ms Windsor. You all right there, Harry? Y/n?"Hagrid asks Harry nods and I smile a weak smile. "Harry Potter, this is where I leave you. You're safe now. Good luck Y/n Gryffindor Windsor keep your friends and family close you're stronger than you think, Goodbye Princess"Firenze says and leaves. "What did he mean did he mean, am I not safe!?"I ask everyone a little scared no one says anything.
