Chapter 10 Nicholas Flamel

Y/N:POV

It's late and I am trying to make Harry take me with him for the information about Nicholas Flamel that I already know but isn't going to say cause last time I tried Harry and I almost got crushed by a tree. "Please Harry"I beg with puppy eyes he doesn't look at me and when he does he sighs "Fine only because you're cute..."Harry says looking as shocked as me I feel the blush tint my face. "We...should go," I say pretty fast Harry just nods and we put on his invisibility cloak and it was pretty embarrassing being so close to my crush that just called me cute.

We get to the restricted section. Me walking by Harry's side while his reading book sections aloud "Flamel...Nicholas Flamel...where are you?"Harry asks no one, in particular, he take out a book from the shelf and opens it and it screams Harry closes it fast and puts it back on the shelf and looks at me when we hear the gate open. "WHO'S THERE" we hear Mr Filch yell.

Harry took the invisibility cloak in a hurry and he pull the lantern to the floor. "Bloody hell" I curse under my breath while Harry puts the invisibility cloak over us. We creep around Filch and we start rushing down a corridor we are going to turn a corner but I stop Harry I don't know how but I feel uneasy "I think it's someone or more like three people around this corner" I whisper to Harry he nods and we creep around the corner and it is Professor Quirrell and Professor Snape but I don't see a third person.

Snape pushes Quirrell against the wall. "Severus...I-I thought..."Quirrell stutters like he was scared but I don't sense it. "You don't want me as your enemy Quirrell, "Snape says like he was protecting something. "W-what do you m-mean?"Quirrell ''stutters'' "You know perfectly well what I mean,"Snape says and he senses us it causes me to stop breathing and me to at the same time put my hand over Harry's mouth.

Snape reaches out to grab the invisibility cloak covering us but doesn't. He whips his finger back in front of Quirrell's face. "We'll have another chat soon...when you've had time to decide where your loyalties lie and about the princess"Snape says I look at the two confused 'Does he mean me or does it exist another princess that is important to the wizarding world?'My thoughts are interrupted by Filch holding Harry's lantern I gave Harry a glare he looks from me to them so do I.

"Oh Professors. I found this, in the Restricted Section. It's still hot That means there are students out of bed"Filch says dramatically and Quirrell and Snape dart off with Filch not far behind. Harry pulls my hand as to say let's get out of here I accept and we walk to an empty room with a mirror. Harry pulls off the invisibility cloak and not until now did I realise Harry didn't let go of my hand "Harry...can you let go"I say and mentally thank the dark that covers my red face.

He looks back at me and at our hands but he didn't let go and instead drags me to the mirror that I see is the mirror of Erised "Woah" I say. Harry lets go of my hand and walks closer and his eyes widen "Mum..Dad?"he asks the mirror I get tears in my eyes.

'Well that's fuckin' sad' I think.

The mirror shows your heart deepest desires therefore the name Erised is Desire backwards and knowing all he wants is a family that loves him breaks my heart knowing he will never have the childhood almost every other child has. "Y-Y/n look it's my parents!" Harry says excited dragging me to where he stands "Look Y/-" he cuts himself off looking at me "Y/n why are you crying?"he asks with a lot of concern in his voice.

I just look in the mirror seeing four people two women with h/c hair one of them was my real Mum and the other had e/c eyes I guess it was me and then I look at the men and jump a little seeing a man with grey eyes and brown hair to his shoulders looking like a calm version of Serius Black and the other man looking like Harry but in his mid-twenties. "Are you okay Y/n?" Harry asks I look at him I smile and nod. "Did you see them?" Harry asks I shake my head "It-"Harry cuts me off "I need to show Ron!" Harry says and runs to the door I run to him "Harry! I can't be seen we will share the invisibility cloak" I say while taking the invisibility cloak over us and we run to the common room.

Harry takes the invisibility cloak off me and runs to the boy's dorms I sigh and go sit on the sofa still confused by the mirror.

It's been a week since Harry started going to The Mirror Of Erised. So I wrote a letter to Dumbledore today telling him about Harry's situation. And right now I'm waiting for Harry to come back. It is around midnight when the Painting to the common room opens and Harry walks in and sees me on the sofa he walks over to me and just hugs me I hug back I hear him mumble 'Thank you' and we let go I smile at him he smiles back after a moment of silence I broke it. "Harry?"I ask and look at him he hums and looks up at me with a tired smile. "C-Can we hold hands?" I ask holding my hand out. He looks shocked but gives a shy smile and take it. 'agh he's holding my hand!!'I think and smile.

We sit side by side holding hands for maybe 20 minutes while talking. Then we go up to go to sleep.
