Chapter 15 Wizard's Chess

Y/N: POV

"Isn't it obvious we play our way through the room! Okay, Harry, you take the bishops to place Hermione take the Rook on the queen's side.....myself I'm gonna be a knight" Ron says "Ron what about me?"I ask him he looks at me and just shakes his head in worry.

I sigh and walk to where I'm safe 'why would he let me he is my overprotective brother but not as much as the older ones I think as I look as they play I'm scared because Ron hasn't moved yet which leaves him one choice."Wait a minute" Harry says "Harry, Y/n you see it too right" Ron asks I nod.

"Once I make my move the queen will take me then your free to check the king, "He says "No Ron NO"Harry yells "What is it?"Hermione asks worriedly. "He is going to sacrifice himself!"Harry says "No you can't it must be another way!!"Hermione says I shake my head. 

"Do you want to stop Snape from taking the stone or not! Harry, Y/n It's you two that has to keep going, not me not Hermione, YAOU two!" he tells us I nod so do Harry. Ron looks in front of him and takes a deep breath. "Knight to H3"He commands and the Knight starts moving and it stops on H3 I close my eye and cover my ears not that I won't hear with my hyper hearing but I don't wanna hear or see my brother get hurt.

I hear the queen turn and go away from me which is where Ron is and I hear stone break and Ron scream I cringe at the thud I hear some feet movement. "STOP...remember we're still playing!"Harry says probably because Hermione wants to check Ron. Me too but I know he wants me to be safe I uncover my ears and open my eyes seeing Ron on the floor, Harry starts walking towards the king and stop right in front of the king. "Checkmate!"Harry says and slowly the sword drops and hits the ground as it does I run over to Ron and when I sat beside him I hear his heart I sigh with relief.

I stand up as Hermione sits down by him. "Take care of Ron then go to the owlery and send a letter to Dumbledore Ron am right I will continue, "Harry says and looks at me "You will be alright Harry you're a great wizard you really are, "Hermione says. "Excuse me but I'm coming with you, "I tell him he shakes his head and stands up. "Go back with Hermione, Y/n," He says and walks through the door. "I-I'm going after him I care for him so much and I really don't want him getting hurt, "I say Hermione looks shocked but she smiles I blush.

"You are great Y/n," she says I smile and start running to catch up with Harry. I open the next door and I almost can't handle the smell that just got stronger the closer I got to the door. I gaged and opened the door and I puke and see a probably dead troll I pinch my nose and run to the next door open it fast and close it with much force it made a loud bang and fire covered the door and I turn and see Harry looking at me with a look of worry. "Hi ehm what is this room?"I ask with an innocent smile. "Some kind of riddle with potions" Harry answers me I nod and walk up beside him and look at the table with seven potions on it. I smell them all from where I'm standing. "Harry what did the riddle say?"I ask him smelling both fire-resistant, living dead and wine. "In front of you are seven bottles witch three will kill you instantly two are just wine and will do nothing one will bring you back and one will make you able to keep moving forward" Harry reads.

I nod and pick up two bottles smelling them both. "Yup mhm wine, "I say and put them aside Harry looks at me weird. "What I recently found out is I have great smell senses," I say and pick up two more and smell. "This one will bring us back and this one is a living dead potion,"I say and put the safe one away and pick up two more and smell them. "Two more living dead potions witch means that one is the one we need, "I say as I point to the last bottle.

Harry nods and picks it up. "Do you have bacteria phobia?"I ask taking the bottle and taking a sip Harry shakes his head and takes the bottle taking a sip and puts the bottle down. "Come on now,"Harry says and grabs my hand dragging me to the next door. He opens it and we walk in and it's a staircase down I take a deep breath and Harry and I go down the stairs only to see the mirror of Erised and someone standing in front of it.
