Over the next week it was even worse than I thought it would be. Olivia was moody always looking at the Cullen's table to see if Edward was there. While I focused on more important things; like trying not to kill Jessica. For such a simple task, you have no idea how I have struggled! It's like she replaced that stupid squirl! Always trying to get herself killed whenever I see her! It has been a week and I still haven't gotten any answers. I was in a mood myself, irritated that I still am clueless. I was currently sitting at lunch with Olivia trying to not lose my mind.
It was like I was in some type of time loop; it was the same every day. I woke up, came to school, sat through the boring classes, listened to Olivia ramble on about Edward, try not to kill Jessica, and then go home to repeat the same thing all over again. I stood up abruptly, which made everyone at the table look at me. I threw out my lunch, as I wasn't that hungry; and walked over to the Cullen's table and sat down. "I hope you don't mind. I needed to get away from Olivia and Jessica; and I thought that it would be a great opportunity to finally meet all of you." I say with a smile.
Alice POV
I was happy that Bella decided to sit with us. She didn't meet Rosalie or Jasper yet, so I was excited how this conversation would go. Rosalie was the first one to speak up; "Just to be clear, I don't trust you, and this changes nothing, but thank you for putting Jessica in her place earlier this week." I smile hoping that Rosalie and Bella will be great friends in the future. I couldn't see Bella's future like, I can see Olivias, but whenever I try to look at Bella's future there is a purple like mist surrounding it. I was curious, but I was going to wait until she felt more comfortable before I asked.
Ava POV
"Of course. That is smart and reasonable; if all of you trusted me immediately that would be stupid. It's always good to have someone question things and be cautious." I say smiling to Rosalie. Out of the corner of my eye I see Alice smiling, which made me smile even more. I turn my attention to Jasper. "Do I make you uncomfortable? If I do, I can leave." I ask knowing his past. I didn't want to make him uncomfortable. He shakes his head and answers quietly. "No; you're fine." I smile and turn my attention to the entire table. "I know that Edward is at the Denali's. I was hoping to have a conversation with him before he left, but that's fine."
Emmett scuffs and mumbles, "Don't look forward to meeting him." He said it at just loud enough for me to hear. Before I asked my question Rosalie elbowed him in the stomach. "What do you mean, Emmett?" He looks down sheepishly saying, "Edward doesn't like you." Once again Rosalie elbowed him in the stomach, which made Emmett look at her in confusion. "It's not that he doesn't dislike you, Bella. He just doesn't agree with keeping you alive; but I'm sure you know that already." Alice says encouragingly.
I smile at Alice hoping she's right. Don't get me wrong; I don't like Edward, but I should give him a chance. I can't be prejudice against him, before I have met him. Sure, I didn't like his character, but he could be different; Olivia arrived which isn't like the original story line, so why couldn't I end up liking him? With that thought in mind I was hopeful for meeting him. "How much do you know about us? Why are you here?" Jasper asks out of the blue.
"I'll tell all of you next Tuesday when Edward comes back. That way I can meet him and explain it to all of you at once." I say hoping they will give me until then. Jasper was about to object, but Alice spoke first saying, "That's fine. I also agree that it would be better for you to tell all of us at once." I nod to Alice thanking her for helping me. She knew I wasn't comfortable and helped me which I was grateful for.
The bell rang and I sighed getting up. I had free period, but they didn't so I couldn't talk with them longer. I waved at them before walking out of the cafeteria. I was headed to the library to see if I could find something to read when Olivia ran in front of me out of nowhere making me almost crash into her. Before I could ask what she wanted, she started rambling. "You know the Cullen's? Why didn't you tell me!? Do you know why Edward left? Do you know when he's coming back? Do they hate me? How-" I take a deep breathe calming myself before cutting her off. "Olivia! Calm yourself!" I yell at her louder that I was trying to, but it made her shut up; so, I continued.
