Once I saw that the door was open, I feared for Charlie's life. After what happened with Victoria, I didn't want to take any chances. I pushed the door open and slowly stepped into the house. Charlie was like a second father to me, and I didn't want Victoria to ruin that. I walked into the kitchen and there was no one there, but I quickly grabbed a stake knife. Where was Charlie? I continued to walk down the hallway to the living room and saw him sleeping on the couch. I internally sighed, glad he wasn't hurt or worse. If it was Victoria, she would have killed Charlie.

I walked out on living room and went by Charlie's room; it was by the bottom of the stairs. I opened the door quickly and saw that there was no one in there either. Then I started walking up the stairs to my bedroom. There was nothing in the Attic so the last and only room that this person could have been in was my bedroom. I open the door and saw a man standing by my window. Once he saw me, he waved his hand and black and blue portal looking thing opened up.

Then he jumped into it and the portal closed. Great. Maybe Elizabeth was telling the truth. I didn't know what to think. This has to be something Elizabeth related if not then I think I might have actually gone insane. This was supposed to be normal well as normal as it can get from me going into one of my favorite book series main character. Before I got brought back to my body Elizabeth said that I could go back to the realm if I meditated.

Even though I never thought I was going to use that bit of information, it seemed to come in handy night now. So, all I have to do is meditate and hopefully I will go back. At least Charlie was safe. I quickly changed out of by bloody clothes and into pajamas. It was around ten at night by the time that I got everything together. I locked all the windows and the doors even though it wouldn't help if a special kind of breed decided to break in, but it made me feel better.

I laid down on my bed and close my eyes to focus on my breathing. I learned that when I got anxiety if something was happening at the hospital I needed to focus on my breathing, and it helped. After a couple of seconds, I was pulled back into what looked like the universe and then I was back on the beach. It was actually pretty peaceful, it was beautiful, but I need to get to the bottom of what the hell was happening. After I looked around for a minute I called out, "Elizabeth, I need to talk to you." Not even a minute later there she was looking at me with a smile. I quickly started to explain what happened at my house.

"When I went home, I saw a man in my room. He waved his hand and a blackish-blue portal opened up and he jumped in." Her smile disappeared which shocked me as I didn't think that her facial expression could become anything but happy. "Are you sure that the portal was blackish-blue color?" She asked, her voice full of seriousness. Although I could tell that she was extremely nervous. "Positive" I responded completely sure of my answer.

She started pacing around after I said that which caused me to worry. "This is bad, the counsel has already taken action." A counsel? How much was there that I didn't know about? "The counsel? What is the counsel?" I asked confused. She stopped pacing and turned her attention towards me. "They're a group of powerful mages that take care of people that have broken the rules. They make the laws and choose the punishments for the people that have broken them. Your mother kept them in check, but with her gone..."

"So why was he at my house?" She sighed shaking her head. "The counsel is always wanting more power so when word got out that Maria's daughter was still alive, they probably sent one of their men to see if it were true." She explained

This was absolutely fantastic! Note the sarcasm. "Oh, a mage Volturi well that's bloody fantastic. Why don't I just go and stop by to say hello." Her eyes go wide in shock, before quickly denying my idea. "You can't, please just stay where you are, your guards have already been informed about their new assignment." Well at least I would have more protection. "When will they come?" I asked curious about my guards. She closes her eyes and after a couple of seconds she answers, "By tomorrow morning."
